Over the years this place has grown from a simple hut to the place-to-be, but did not lose any of it's charm. Great Schnapps and dishes for lunch or dinner. A bit more vegetarian dishes would be noce, but dumplings with spinach were superb! Location at bottom of Flying Mozart skipiste, with bus stop, this is ideal to meet up with friends/grand parents joining you if they do not ski. As every year, we'll be back!

Eine der besten Skilounges in Österreich, gutes Essen und viel VIP
A great modern, buzzy, stylish restaurant/bar/entertainment venue on the slopes. Live DJ playing great tracks whilst eating superb food, drinking great wine and enjoying the total package! The Thai curries are excellent, as is the Jausn (enormous) and on the weekend beef short ribs are superb!

“Eat local because you can” – delicious and honest, this are the two attributes which describe the culinary offer in our restaurant most. Designed in a current vintage look is the PAULAREI an eye catcher in Flachau. There you can enjoy local products and

After a long day in the mountains this is THE place to go. Just like other populair apres ski locations it's very busy between 17:00 and 20:00 but it's worth it. People understand their job and are very kindly. Enjoy!
Großunterbergalm - the big meadow under the mountain. Very Tolkien, and I'm sure JRR would have liked this place. Main building is pine and nicely matured. Extension is new pine with a high tech shaded sundeck. We sat in semi shadeBier and Leberknödelsuppe with two knödeln. The menu is pretty much the universal Austrian mountain food. So why this one? Why was this one my favourite? I think because most of the mountain restaurants on the Alpendorf side have something of the motorway services about them. Catering and catering well for the passing trade. Wagrain on the other hand has lots of smaller places. And this one is the furthest away from that village. It's small and friendly. It's over the edge into Wagrain but only just. What a shame I only discovered it on the last day!
