We had lunch ,dinner and breakfast because we were also staying at the hotel.I ordered Trumps BLT because it should have been good with his name on it,but very dissenting. It was very dry and the greens couldnât even be chewed, tomato was too thin and very little bacon and chicken so disappointing. For dinner we had lamb shanks which were super good and cooked perfectly,,,but the desert was pavlova and again so hard and dry it was hard to eat...the pear apple tart was good.Breakfast was beautiful artistic display and buffet was full of variety...but ordered eggs Benedict and again shocked that it was served on a dry HAMBURGER bun, just ruined the whole taste even though the smoked salmon was organic etc,...plus it was almost cold....Such a classy place with so many good qualities itâs sad to have to be honest .Ive traveled so much and eaten so many eggs Benedictâs too and this was the worst ,,,the fruit, coffee, smoothies etc,all delightful. Most of all the biggest compliment I give is to the staff ,,the friendliest most graceful and efficient for sure.Thank you Viveca A for taking the time to review your recent stay with us.I am glad you enjoyed our very popular lamb shanks and our beautiful breakfast buffet. I regret that we did not meet our usual high standards in certain areas when it came to your dining experience. Please know that we will discuss these issues internally to assure we consistently serve the high quality food we are known for. Thank you very much for your kind words regarding the friendliness and efficiency of the team here at Trump Doonbeg. We hope to welcome you back soon.Your sincerely,Conor LynchTrumps Restaurant Manager

Stayed at the Igoe Inn with friends for the annual Willie Keane Memorial dance and music festival. This accomodation is first class. Spotless comfortable and homely. Great atmosphere. Breakfast was lovely and had great laugh with other guests staying. Caroline the owner is amazing Aand despite being on the go all the time always took time out to check on us . Location is central and ideal base to see Village on foot or tour the Wild Atlantic Way. The food in the Igoe restaurant is delicious and ambience just right. Will definitely return when I get the chance

I last dined in Naughtons about 3 years ago. I thought the food was good but the attitude from the senior people working there was bad. I went back there recently. Complaints are not welcome. The aggression in response to a complaint was unbelievable. Never again.

My wife and I stopped into Tubridy's in Cooraclare for a break from the long drive down from Galway. We had soup and the traditional bacon and cabbage diner. People in the pub section were having a sing along. We were fascinated and decided to stay the night, even though we had booked a room in Doonbeg. We had some pints of Guinness and enjoyed ourselves a great deal. What a lot of fun it was with everyone singing. It was some get together of the local football team, \I think.

Crotty's is currently listed as "Hotels & B&Bs" on your website. They now do food at lunchtime and in the evenings and deserve a Restaurant listing.
Popped in here for an evening meal. Nice homely pub , loads of character, looked like a good pub to have a few pints . I had the battered fish and chips which was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, prices also fine. Ignore the snippy comments from other reviews, you wonât go wrong with a meal here. A1.
