The Key Lime margarita made such an impression on me that I'm still raving about it weeks later. It was the perfect blend of tart with a sweet aftertaste. The food did not disappoint either. The servings are generous, prices reasonable, and awesome service. Parking is a little tight, so, it's probably a good idea to get there before the evening rush.

We loved this restaurant we went back twice while we were there for the week on vacation. A pretty decent wait since itâs a small place but itâs well worth the wait! Fun atmosphere, and the food was outstanding! My favorite was the Chicken Alfredo with the chicken blackened. They also had really fun kids drinks on the menu which my boys thought were the best!

Specializing in exquisite and refreshing island cuisine in a classy yet casual tropical ambience, Barefoot Bernie's Tropical Grill & Bar has become a true destination on the Outer Banks restaurant circuit.
We stopped in to Barefoot Bernie's basically on a whim. We were trying to go to the place next door but the wait was too long. There were about 6 of us and we found a spot at the bar together. Our bartender was a bit salty in the absolute best kind of way. She had us laughing the whole time and was completely on top of it with keeping us with drinks and recommending stuff. We ordered some apps and had a few drinks and it ended up being a surprisingly good time. We are very happy that the place next door was too busy.

Was my first time there with friends that make it a tradition every year to go. My fried flounder sandwich was good, my friends had the bottom skin on which was not good he was disappointed. My hush puppies were average. The raw oysters my friends had were delicious. The peel and eat shrimp were terrible. The peels stuck to the meat and couldnt peel. The server told us they had been having problems with them and offered to take back. (If they were having problems why werent they testing them?) The replacement of fried Oysters I was told were great. Wanted the crab and corn chowder and was told "oh those arent really the specials on the board we dont have" Yet 2 friends that sat at the bar at the same time got it and said it was delicious. Our server wasnt that great. The decor is fun. Not sure I would go back.

My sister and I stopped in for a snack on Saturday around noon...seated quickly, waitstaff attentive and food was great! Although we were there for lunch, we decided to share appetizers...we highly recommend the Hippie Dip, Fried Green Tomatoes and Buxton Barrels! We also had delicious craft beer....a taste of lime!

We went to Jockeyâs Ridge and stopped here on the way home to our condo. So glad I came! Ordered 2 blackened chicken tacoâs and they were really good. Also got a side of the marinated cucumber salad- very refreshing! Not sure it would be my favorite dinner location on our date but lunch, definitely! The waitress wasnât thrilled to wait on us but not the owners fault. Iâd rate this 4.5 out of 5 because Iâm a tough critic but they donât let you do half stars so I rounded up bc Iâm leaving content and full. We would come back.

TRiO is an exciting retail and tasting destination with both a gourmet retail wine, beer and cheese shop as well as a bistro with a wine bar and tap house.
Stopped here for a work lunch during the week. Crowded, but seated & greeted quickly. They have two levels of seating. They have a wine & beer shop as you enter and the restaurant serves beer & wine only.I had a salad with shrimp (don't recall the menu name) and my partner had a sandwich. Both were very fresh and delicious. The service was prompt, friendly and efficient. I will return and recommend it.

My daughter and I really enjoyed an early dinner @ Beachside Bistro. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the crab dip with fried pitas as an appetizer and it was delicious. Our sandwiches and fries were so plentiful we took 1/2 with us for lunch the next day. We will be back!

I went there with a friend and got the last empty table so there was zero wait. The waitress was prompt bringing us menus and taking a drink order. We quickly decided on our dinner selection and when the waitress delivered our drinks she was able to tzar our sportiest and dinner order (jerk chicken wrap, mahi mahi tacos and chips & salsa. The appetizer arrived quickly and just as were were about to finish our last chip our dinner arrived. Zero complaints with dinner. It was hot and fresh AND DELICIOUS. So good that I took a picture.
