So far, we have never been disappointed when having lunch or dinner at the "Alte Zunft". It's very close to the center, yet very quiet. Inside all wood and very typical, outside terrace very pleasant when the sun shines. The food is delicious, sturdy, reliable. The salads are great. The sevice is always nice: a place to recommend!

Mirko is always coming up with great ideas. This place is like a local hang-out with live bands/music lined up on many weekends. The menu is large and varied, and the food is good. (Price/quality is very fair.) The place is usually packed which unfortunately sometimes causes slow service. But, this is a nice place to go for a casual lunch or dinner with friends or family.

This is a small bistro that opened up just last month (August 2015). We tried several times to get a seat outdoor, but because of the limited seating on the pavement, it was impossible. Last night we went inside the bistro instead. The interior decoration with old-fashioned portraits with elaborate frames made the bar pretty classy and cozy. The decorative candle holders with lit candles all around the bistro, and also on tables, made the small cafe romantic too.Because they were just starting up, the menu was still limited; they had a tapas plate and a cheese plate to go with the drinks. But the drink menu was comprehensive; there were cocktails, beers, wines, hard liquor, port wine and other non-alcoholic drinks. The place was packed that summer evening right after the summer concert series at the Rose Garden (around 9 p.m.) and there weren't too many waiters to go around. However, they seemed to improvise pretty well, possibly with the help of friends. Service was friendly & pretty laid backSince we stay close to this bistro, we will certainly come back.
