We enjoyed our lunch here, the fish tacos, fish sandwich and fish and chips were all good. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was fun. The server pointed out to our children the shaved ice coupon for next door, it was a perfect end to the lunch! When we finished lunch we got the buy one get one free shaved ice ($4 for two was half of the price at the resort for one). We took them across the street to the beach before biking back. Made for a very nice afternoon!

We had the burger which is incredible! We've been eating seafood every day and we needed something else and this was it! Also had the shrimp and pork belly appetizer and lastly the cheesecake desert. Also, the mixed drinks were great. We will come back and try more of the menu. Prices are fair and our server Kaya was the best.Mahalo for the 5-star review! A bistro is usually a place with local comfort food at modest prices. I think they even say that on their menu. I ordered the Fish Rockets for my lunch entree even though it is listed as an appetizer. My husband ordered the spicy BLT with fries. The Rockets are 2 small Spring roll like things served with a nice coleslaw and wasabi sauce. Even though it was a small portion it was perfect for lunch for me. Especially since my husbandâs sandwich and fries were a large portion and he shared. He really wanted to have the grasshopper pie so we did. For $9.50 I didnât think it was worth it. Itâs ice cream pie. So for lunch for 2 with just iced tea to drink our bill was $45 before tip. My husband was fine with that, but being the frugal one in the family I thought it was expensive. They did continue to refill our iced tea and our server was awesome so I would actually give them 4.5 stars if I could.

We had good service and a friendly staff. This restaurant seems to always have a lot of attendance - which generally means it's good! We had our Fish Tacos "blackened" which was a little spicy for our taste, but that's a personal choice. All in all, we'd recommend it as a place to check out the menu and if there are things you like on it, definitely try this place.

A favorite of both locals and visitors with an appealing menu selection and friendly staff. We offer something to please everyone. Sports viewing, live music, dancing, trivia night and karaoke (select nights). Happy Hour and food specials daily. Family fr
We stopped for lunch and ordered 2 burgers and a BLT. Service was very good and the burgers were hand-pressed thick burgers made from good quality local beef. The BLT had a good amount of bacon, but for some reason the bottom slice of toast was wet.Rob's is a sports bar with a local vibe. It was very busy and the quality and quantity of the food we saw being carried by looked good.I plan to return to Rob's in the future to try a few other dishes, but the hamburgers are really good.

Food was great, but the pina coladas were the best on the island. Try to get a table next to the open area -- we got to see some cool geckos!

Visited Dukes for a late afternoon lunch. Received great service and were seated where we could watch the surfers along the beach. Food was great, servings were generous and pricing was surprisingly affordable for this local. Will definitely go there next time!

I read all of the good and the bad on this restaurant.I have to say, we were promptly seated, got a great beer recommendation, and order was taken all within minutes. The manager checked on us at least three times and the place was full! He even took time to explain the cool grill they use when I asked him about it!The food...goodness gracious, delicious burgers and twice cooked fries! I just canât say enough about how good this was.

SOV SERVES EVERYDAY GOOD FOOD. The menu is from scratch, using our recipes, including all desserts, dressings and sauces. We Hand-Cut our Fries from Russet Potatoes. Fish is delivered fresh daily and we NEVER use frozen fish. Aloha to our local fishermen.
Pros:great view and nice, helpful servers. Good quality food. Cons: pricey for what you get, limited menu, overcooked fish( like a lot of Kauai restaurants), view is great but little character in the restaurant. I rated this restaurant higher than our group because of the view and servers. Our table otherwise gave it an average of 3 stars.
