As a local, this is one of my fave dive sports bars! They have pretty decent food - mostly fried stuff like wings, burgers, fries. The atmosphere is very laid back and the staff are always friendly! Prices are cheap. Gets busy on weekends but there's a huge parking lot. Overall, love this place!

Husband had the bbq ribs...they were great...very tender. I had the pulled pork, also very good, ample portions. Great beer selection. Bar area is smoking, restaurant is not. The staff was wonderful...service was prompt and extremely friendly. Prices very fair.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and so glad we did. The food is great. Wings are cooked perfect. Steak hoagies are great too. It's a family restaurant with the emphasis on family. A lot of young children running around without supervision. Not the restaurant fault just parents not watching their kids. Been there three times and happened each time. Maybe next time will sit in bar area to avoid this.

It is so nice to see a local restaurant, in the sea of chain restaurant establishments. We've visited Bluegrass a few times, and while their menu selection is really nothing to write home about (lacks great variety). Other than the burgers (which I very rarely, almost never order a burger out) there is not much that has enticed my taste buds, but I must say their burgers are tasty. I have had the "Daniel Boone" (I believe) which was great. Prepare for more burger than you can eat and can barely wrap your mouth around. It definitely did not leave me hungry.The decor is very fun with a lot of Kentucky flare, which I very much appreciate. The booths are burlap covered, and feel like they are filled with straw. I am not a fan as they sit so low you can barely reach the table. On one occasion, the waitress pretty much just sat down with us at dinner, they weren't busy, but can you say "awkward".

Awesome decorated with mostly racing of some sort. Lots of TV's. Dawna was our very friendly and efficient waitress. I had buffalo chicken salad which was great with blue cheese. Wife had chicken sandwich which she thought was just OK. Manager came around, sat down and chatted a few then came back later to check on us. Pretty busy for a Saturday lunch time with race weekend. We will go back.

We met with friends that we havenât seen for a while and sat outside and had a great time. Everyone except me had the fish and chips and I had the chicken Gouda pasta dish which was mostly good. Beer was not as cold as I like.But all in all, great place to hang out

We met our daughter and son-in-law and granddaughter (there to have a nice Sunday afternoon together. Unfortunately the server seemed annoyed we were there...and didnât want to answer questions. The food was good. Again, when it was time to leave, we had to track him down to get our bill.

We enjoyed our dinner here as we celebrated my mother in law's 81st birthday. First, I have to say, Jasmine, our server, was THE best! She was attentive and friendly. We all got the fried chicken dinner that came family style with all the sides. It was so delicious! The chicken was tender and juicy!! The sides all complemented the chicken. We love coming to The Greyhound Tavern but tonight seemed extra good. Thank you Jasmine! We will be back soon!!

This is a restaurant that serves down-home food with a twist. And what an incredible list of twists they have. Their fried green tomatoes, for instance, are served with onion-bacon jam, scallions and house-made remoulade. Their Spicy Battered Pickle Fries with sriracha ranch are the best I have ever had.Made-to-order mac & cheese is their specialty, and we were not disappointed. The Leonardo da Pinchi was loaded with fresh lump crab, shaved Vermont white cheddar, cheddar jack, fresh tomatoes and scallions. I couldn't eat it all, and took the leftovers home. The names are also entertaining. Next time I'm going to try the Chris P. Bacon mac & cheese.Plus, they offer a full assortment of entrees, sandwiches, burgers, salads and sides that I am dying to try. I did save room for a homemade dessert â bread pudding prepared according to a daily theme.The restaurant isn't as big as its reputation so you should probably look for odd times to eat, if possible. You'll be glad you did.
