A nice little pub that serves dinner. We sat next to a warm fire and I enjoyed the mushroom soup. Definitely not a tin variety ! My friend had a fillet steak which he said was delicious. No frills but a nice atmosphere

This is a fairly spacious bar/restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonably priced and we found staff to be friendly, efficient and as attentive as was required ie no âhoveringâ. The pizza from the wood fired oven both looked and tasted good. Lots of topping and a nice thin, crispy base. The Eisbein was large and well cooked, though a little too salty for my taste. Accompanying vegetables and mash were good.In summation, a great place for a relaxed meal in Howick and well worth a visit.
We had a few lunches here as it was a favourite amongst the youngsters in our larger family group (7 teenagers/early twenty something's).It is a new Spur at a new shopping centre and it is upholding the Spur tradition of being a great family restaurant. The burgers went down like home sick moles and their steaks and ribs never failed to impress. The staff is doing the restaurant proud as although they are obviously new (as is the venue) they are comfortable with their roles and familiar with the menu's. Thanks to Savannah for going the "extra mile" to look after everyone and making sure we were looking forward to our next meal.Hi Richard,Thank you for taking the time to review our Misty Falls Spur Steak Ranch family restaurant. We are delighted to know that you had such a wonderful time with us and that Savannah provided you with such great service. We look forward to seeing you back again, soon!Kind regards,Spur Steak Ranches

Been to Red tap for pizza with friend and enjoyed it. second time going there for lunch, I was very disappointed with the burger as it was too greasy, my boyfriend who enjoys his draughts was also disappointed as it was a bit flat. Thanks for pointing out a few things. Regarding the greasy burger if you had the monster burger the egg, the mushrooms would have been fried in oil, and the melted cheese on top. When you melt cheese it is very oily. I am sorry about that.About the draught being flat, well it is hardly impossible for draught to be flat. The gas get checked on a regular basis to make sure we have enough and that we are not going to run out. I am sure if you complained the bar person would have called me and if I am not in then the manager, but you would have gotten a new draught.
