Fantastic service and some great foodWe really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back. Fun little bar/grill with a real neighbourhood feel. Our waitress had excellent suggestions and knew the menu inside and out. Great selection of beer on tap to boot!I had placed my order but saw a plate of the Guiness meat pie go by and quickly changed. Glad I did The puff pastry crust was light and flakey and the insides were piping hot and yummy. We also had one of the daily specials mac 'n cheese with lobster and shirmp. While the lobster was a little chewy, the pasta and shrimp were excellent. When we mentioned it our waitress wanted to bring out an entire new plate, and when we insisted that was not required she insisted on treating us to a dessert. Now that's customer service!Lots of other intriguing items on the menu for our next visit!

Classic American comfort food, crave-able bar snacks, plus unique cocktails & an extensive wine list in an upscale yet casual environment. Nick's is located in the heart of Belmont Shore on 2nd st. Our intimate restaurant features a chic island bar, walls
Nick's has simple, delicious food. The menu isn't overwhelming with choices and I have not had a bad meal here. My favorite is the fried chicken, but the fish and meat are also fresh and cooked to perfection. The sides and appetizers are unique and tasty. I like the asparagus fries and the shrimp taquitos. It is reasonably priced and well worth the cost, for the quality of the food. They have a full bar selection as well.

Not too bad actually. Food is the classic comfort food from many casual restaurants, but here everything it's just better. Being surrounded by dog pictures is a bit odd, but not comfortable at any moments.

This is a causal neighborhood restaurant with a covered patio facing Los Al Blvd. It offers a large selection of craft beers. We loved our Portland aged sour blond ale (#29 Cascade Brewing Belmont Street Bramble). Our dining companions enjoyed their Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio. The food was very good (with friendly service). The Sancho burger topped our dinner selection. It was really juicy and flavorful with roasted jalapeños and ancho chili mayo. The cherry wood bacon burger with Memphis style bbq sauce likewise was delicious. Both pasta dishes (salmon belly bow tie pasta in vodka sauce and the Alehouse pasta in short rib ragu served with a grilled Bratwurst) were also well prepared. We had an enjoyable dinner and will surely return.

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, "to meet Pan Am stewardesses." Sud
We took a large group for appetizers during happy hour, and two of us discovered the steak and petite lobster special. For $14.99 each, we received a very tasty steak, about 6-8 oz, along with a petite lobster tail, grilled or boiled, our choice. We also got two sides. This meal was very tasty and a heck of a deal. For the appetizers the group ordered the boneless buffalo wings, the bone-in buffalo wings, the potato skins, the pot stickers, the spinach flatbread, and the white cheddar beef queso. My favorite of the appetizers were the backed potato skins, and the white cheddar queso (very tasty, almost like it had an all meat chili served on top of the queso) You will need extra chips!

We walked in and were quickly greeted and told about the great halpy hour.We picked a table that was sticky and happen to be under a leaky ac. We moved the table 6 inches no biggie. A couple munutes go by no one helps us. We watch 4 bar girls just 10 feet from our table talking and drinking. A couple more minutes still no service. We go back to the hostess and what i assume was an assistant manager says its not our fault. I exlpained the bar staff was too busy talking to help us and we wanted a regular table. We are sat down and told alex would take care of us. A couple minutes later, still not acknowledged. I am ready to leave when the manager shows up, apologizes and takes our drink order. He then took our food order and handed us off to a waitress. Service was fine at that point. Food overall was good. The ny and bison ribeye were both fatty and didnt seem worth the almost $30 they charge for each.Shrimp kabob was excellent, the broccoli was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the artichoke dip was very good as was vegetables. Freshest rolls in town...very yummy. The brownie dessert with hot fudge was incredible.I appreciated the service recovery by the manager or my review would have been a 2. I am sure i will try it again but with a lucilles next door they better get their staffed more focused on service.

A few girls and I are here on a trip and thought this place looked good. Our waitress Leanne was good but the food, not so much. I had the Malibu burger which was ok the side salad looked like it had been dumped from a bag and had spoiled lettuce in it. My friend had the quesadilla and it literally had nothing in it. My other friend had the jungle Caesar and it was nothing to write home about at all. Not impressed. What chair is too bad as weâre staying at the renaissance which is very close and we could have had our âgo toâ spot for the week. I wouldnât recommend it at all

Everything we ordered was excellent with the exception of the peach cobbler. Especially liked the mashed sweet potatoes. We had a friendly greeting and a very good waiter. Nice big booth which we requested. This restaurant is actually quiet, which is rare these days. Wish it was closer to home.

Off the Hook offers social dining focused on a vibrant, chef-driven menu, high-quality ingredients, and a relaxed ambiance that encourages sharing and bringing people together through food & cocktails.
My parents and sister took my friends and I to dinner at this restaurant. What a wonderful experience with excellent service and food. The portions were ample and filling. We started with the friend calamari which was splendid and crispy. My meal opened with a salad, and then I had the salmon with grilled vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. Excellent is an understatement. The rest of our party had a plethora of items that all looked delicious. The next time Iâm in Long Beach Iâll be eating here again. I just loved it! Next time Iâll be bringing the wife and sons.
