We stopped by for a quick dinner and some beers. The atmosphere is great. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman who gave us a choice of tables. The service was great. Our server helped us pick out local beers to try and our appy and entrees. We had a scotch egg appy and a mar goat Rita pizza and lobster Mac and cheese. Everything including the beer was amazing. We actually recommended the place to two people travelling for the same work function as us.Hello Carlie J,Thank you for dining with us, and thank you for the recommendation! We're so pleased that you enjoyed your experience and our wonderful staff. We hope to host you again next time you find yourself in our fair city!Warmest regards,Kerri

The Lower Deck "Where the Music flows as Freely as the Ale, And Good Times are Guaranteed."
Lower Deck was a great place to hang out. The location is great and the atmosphere was fun. There was live music the day I was there and the guitarist/singer was really good. My friends and I had the chicken nachos and it were very good as well. The only odd thing is that the drink service and the food service are done by different people. So you need to order and settle 2 different bills if you get a drink and food.

I really cannot give this place much of anything. If you are into a bar with a âfrat houseâ atmosphere and no interest in keeping the place clean (especially the overflowing toilets in the washroom) then this can be yours and yours alone. We sat down and within a few minutes we knew if wasnât for us and we left without ordering. This was a Sunday afternoon after a Mooseheads game.Hello Paul,Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Cleanliness and standards of operations are taken very seriously here at Durty Nelly's. Enjoy a delicious meal in Halifax with family or friends, choose from our steak or go for the seafood at the only Bâton Rouge Steakhouse Bar & Grill within Nova Scotia.
Stopped in for a late night dinner after having some drinks at the local downtown pubs, I've eaten at one of there Montreal locations before so I new it was good when I recommended it to the group of friends I was with. I'm sure they'll all go to a Baton rouge again after trying this location. No one left disappointed they were all impressed with the food portions, service and reasonable prices. Great place for late night eats or anytime for that matter.Thank you so much for your review. We are very pleased to read about the wonderful evening you and your friends had with us. We hope you can get in to dine with us again soon.Donna OrrManager

Saw this on the show You Gotta Eat Here. Thought it would be fun to try, but the service was horrible. He shoved a couple of menus our way and then left us alone to find a seat. Then didn't bother to take a drink order until I said could I order one...he flippantly said "you can do whatever you want."The food was only ok...certainly not worth going back to.Would NOT recommend.

We made plans for a family dinner and chose Henry House to be the restaurant. (I hadn't been here since I worked for CN in the mid-70s.) Terrific ambiance and the service was first-rate. We were entertained by our waiter who regaled stories of the past of the building. All in all a wonderful time and we recommend wholeheartedly. We'll be back!

This place is an Irish pub with a lot of rooms. I got the impression that they have live music sometimes. The food was good and about what you expect for pub food. The service was excellent.

Darrell's has been a favourite stomping grounds for students, local professionals, neighbours, families, first daters and all who have heard the rumblings of our fantastic food and great service.
I dined here twice during the two weeks I was in town. On my first visit I had the MOB salad which was filled with grape tomatoes, carrot, cheddar, roasted chicken, mandarin orange segments, sprouts and sliced almonds topped with a tasty honey-dijon dressing. On my second visit, I enjoyed the Rocket Swiss Burger - topped with caramelized onions, mushroom confit and garlic aioloi. The burger was cooked perfectly and was obviously fresh-made. Service was always friendly, welcoming and efficient. Atmosphere is old-school diner-like and casual. The outdoor deck is quite nice, especially on a warm summer night. Next time I'll try their peanut butter burger!
