On our way to Portland from Bend we stopped for lunch. We have found that brew pubs are very good places for food and this place is no exception. Funky mountain grill with basic offerings. My son said the fish tacos were awesome. My dad wasn't thrilled with his fish and chips. The rest of us were happy with our burger, club sandwich, and BLT. Service was very good.

The Blue Ox Bar is a bit like a dungeon: dark, windowless, stone-walled, with wrought iron work and clunky heavy wooden furniture. Service is also a bit dodgy. But, could also be a fun place.
