I stopped by for dinner on a Tuesday night, the weather was fair and there was a good crowd in the outdoor portion of the restaurant, the inside was rather empty. Service was prompt and attentive, I chose the Chicken Enchilada Soup with crushed tortillas and then I ordered the Chicken Madeira served with mashed potatoes.

Since 1961 Breck's Steakhouse has been serving families the biggest and best steaks in the Lowcountry. Come on in and see why locals rave about us and have been coming to us for generations! Try our enormous steaks, burgers, sandwiches, wings or other hom
My wife and I met friends at Breck's Steakhouse. Their son who lives in North Charleston had recommended it. I decided to try the hamburger steak. It was 14 ounces of hamburger smothered with gravy and onions. Came with two sides. One of our friends had the same thing. He enjoyed it too. My wife tried the rib eye and said that it was delicious. We arrived just before six and it wasn't crowded at that time. Look forward to coming back in the future and trying other items on the menu.
I went for some quick takeout. They offer small and large boxes. They do not weight the food at checkout. I filled a small box for $8 including tax. There is one long table of hot food, and one short table of cold food. They offer pancit and lo mein noodle choices. They have chicken, beef, and fish dishes

We were aiming to hit somewhere else given the poor ratings on here. I am glad the other place was closed. The thought of a burger with my wife before we hit the next shop turned into a 2.5 hour lunch that could have gone longer if not for having to pick up the kids. The tavern itself, located in a strip mall, has a large bar as you enter. There are probably a dozen televisions, a few video games, a couple of dart boards, and 10 pool tables with waiting tables for each one. The place was clean but did have that dark neighborhood pub feel. We were welcomed by the bartender and told that pool is free during lunch for people buying lunch. We ordered our drinks and began playing pool. Within a couple of games our food appeared. The bartender kept the drinks full and the food met our expectations. The service was very good, but spread thin so I could see this being an issue if they got busy. Monday is build your burger for $6.95 w/ fries. Mine came with bacon, cheese, sautéed mushrooms, tomato, lettuce, pickles, and mayonnaise. It was very good. They got the temp just right. My wife had grilled cheese and chili. The chili was spicy, but not overly so, and was overall excellent. Grilled cheese is grilled cheese. It was good but it's grilled cheese. This was a good little adventure. We really enjoyed ourselves and had a good meal to boot. We spent almost 3 hours playing pool, and got fed - for a little more than McDonalds prices. We will definitely come here again if in the area.
We came here on a whim a day before the solar eclipse! Great prices Great time Glad we chose to come here!

TJ's BBQ & Burgers is an all American family restaurant, specializing in slow smoked BBQ and mouthwatering burgers. We offer ribs, chicken, pulled pork and brisket on our BBQ menu and a variety of stuffed Angus beef burgers on our sandwich menu. We also h
I was the first of a party of 8 to arrive. The wait staff is VERY friendly and helpful. They took our drink and appetizer orders, and they were correct. The sour apple margarita with salt is fabulous! You can have a sugar rim if you want. I ordered the two and two platter with 1/4 rack of ribs and some pulled pork. I was given a huge servings a pork that was delicious with the mustard sauce. The ribs were a little dry to my taste, but some people like them dry. My side of sweet potato fries was served in a basket. The portion was so large it couldn't fit on my plate. My onion rings came out in two baskets. They had run out of rings for a minute and brought me what they had. Yum! Then they brought me a whole new basket. I shared my side orders with two others, and STILL I had enough food left over for two more meals. My dinner mates really enjoyed their nachos, buffalo dip, burgers, plates, and dessert. The waitresses were so sweet and thoughtful. We played Tuesday Trivia with the announcer. Our team lost, but we had a lot of fun. There are menu choices for kids as well as a dessert menu. As the restaurant was closing, the staff did not make us feel rushed or ask us to leave. They were VERY patient as we completed our meal and left. Our bills were correct. This is probably one of my favorite restaurants in Goose Creek, and we will be back again.
JR's Pub offers the classic feel of your neighborhood bar and grill; a place you'll find your friends, neighbors, and people you consider family. John, Nick, and Ralph invite one and all to stop by for a cold drink in a dynamic atmosphere and great food..
This neighborhood bar has the best bar food I've ever had, eclipsing even Greggs in Murrells Inlet. The club sandwich is better than anything the Pennsylvania Railroad ever served. Nightly specials are great with generous servings. Did I mention their pizza, too bad they don't deliver. Drink prices are reasonable and they have a good selection of draft beer including PBR. The French fries appear to be hand cut and are delivered too hot the eat! While very much a locals' place everyone is welcome. Pool tables as well. Music on the weekends starts at 9 PM, but plan to leave before then as the musicians mean well but won't be making it in Nashville.

Chef driven local & regional ingredients in a progressive, southern, & modern atmosphere. Beautiful bar with craft beer & wine.
We were visiting our daughter and her family and decided to try MOMO Kitchen. We were ALL very pleased. A good seasonal menu so it changes with the seasons. I tried the shrimp and grits entree. I found it very unique as it is made with pulled pork. I have had many shrimp and grits, but this by far was one of the best. I would had preferred a little less gravy, but that is my preference. Staff was great and very attentive. Appreciate the metal straws too as we want to be mind full of our environment! We will be visiting this restaurant again. It is somewhat hidden where it is located, but donât let that deter you from trying this great hidden gem!

Sapphires is a busy local bar. There is an outside patio or inside dinning and bar areas for seating. Parking is not a problem as you can spill over to the adjacent shopping plaza's lot. The decor is dark and need of an update but they have a good selection of food. Service is moderate so don't be in a hurry and plan to linger.
