I visited the restaurant on a cold easter sunday. They have menu in english, kind service, and if you choose from readymeals, they are very fast. The place itself needs a bit more ambient, feeling... I imagine, during summer days the terrace could be great. The garlic soup was tasty, strong enough to heat up the body on a cold day. The meatmix dish with potatopancake was okay, but could've been better. The local beer is nice, tasty, with good body. I was wondering about the green beer (special for easter time), but they did not sell it... More recommended during summer days, but worth a visit for sure! The price value balance is very good, compared to other restaurants of Trebon.

I visit this restaurant every time I am in the area and every time its just awesome. If you are looking for something special and uncommon, try it. Yes, sometimes part of stuff as part timers could seem annoyed and unfriendly, but it is rare and was not so this time. Love it!

Im Zuge eines Ausfluges ins Waldviertel den Tip von einem Einheimischen bekommen, und nichts wie hin (weil wir ja neugierig sind). Lokal zur Mittagszeit klarerweise voll belegt, aber der Wirt meinte, daà für 2 Personen immer in Platz gefunden werden könne. Sehr geschmackvolle Leberknödelsuppe, das Schnitzel klassisch mit würzigem Erdäpfelsalat, und als Highlight Karpfen in Mohnpanade (Mohn gehört ja zum Waldviertel): die ersten paar Bissen muÃten den Gaumen erst an den etwas eigenartigen Geschmack gewöhnen, aber dann wars ein echter GenuÃ!Toiletten in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden, sehr sauber und modern!Absolut empfehlenswert!
