Szynk na Winklu is more a pub than a restaurant. It does well serving different beers. Unfortunately the food is very unhealthy and greasy. The service is most of the time just bad. Skip eating there. Might be a decent place for a beer, but honestly there are much better spots in Gliwice. The whole place is very dark, unclean and looks like a bat cave.

This is one my favorite bars/ restaurants on thr Market square of Gliwice: despite some disadvantages: some of waiters are not so good, but really depends who serves you. All barwlu speak English. On the weekend nights its impossible to get there for a drink: too mamy people; some tables/ chairs are not comfortable enough for having a dinner. Plus points: big choice of food and salads, good soups, good beer, inexpensive prices and a nice atmosphere in the restaurant.Recommended!

I was taken there by a local business partner and I was delighted by both tge drink and the food. The wheatbeer is excellent and the roulade with dumplings very good too. Service a bit on the slow side, but it was ok.

My brother in law had recommended for us to try it out on our recent trip to visit family. As with most places in Poland we were expecting it to be cheap a decent, we were not wrong. Nachos were clearly out of a packet and salted far too much with hardly any cheese or anything really. However I did not go there to try the Nachos, I went for the burger. After having the menu translated to me 3 times, finally chose the Cheese Burger which was fantastic. Loaded with cheese, salad, onions and of course a pickle (we are in Poland). Meat was delicious, soft, melt in your mouth soft. Best burger I have had in a loooong time. And how much? £2.56. £2.56!!! Come on this came with nice home made salad too and you can get fries for like 20 pence. Superb value for money that you would get no where else in the Europe. Just give it a go and ignore the idiots that seem to think people want to read their pedantic reviews and trivial complaints.
