The fish and the "chips" seemed like they were bought in the grocery store. I was served three small rectangles of fish with thick, hard batter breading. Very overcooked. Barely edible. The "chips" were not the English/Irish style that we refer to as steak fries. They were more like Ore-Ida waffle fries but only had ridges one direction. Just barely thicker than potato chips. The pile was enough for 3 people, way too much! The cole slaw was also not very good, only ate half of it. My dinner companion had Jambalaya and she said it was pretty good. Service was good and so was the atmosphere. Prices were a bit on the high side. $16 for Fish & Chips out of the frozen section of the grocery store.

This place is a great bar.The ownership cares about the guest, food and service. They often have entertainment. My family has been coming here for 1 1/2 years. We love the food and service!! Come as you are by boat, car, motorcycle, snowmobile, or even a scooter.I would recommend the burgers, and pizza. They are out in the country on lake Poygan they have a Facebook page to like and keep informed on current events.I would definitely recommend this bar in the Appleton - Oshkosh area!!

We went first to sit outside since it was advertised by a lake. We could not see a lake and it was really uncomfortable so went inside. Waiter was hilarious and made up for the dark, cavelike interior. Broasted chicken was tasty. Cole slaw was sweet so yech. Burgers were ok with not much flavor. Mini shrimp were good. Fried cheese curds were great! Wait time was LONG. Maybe they only have one cook? There was a lot of people there so maybe add staff...

This is a great place to relax. Drinks are reasonable, food is great & customer service is awesome. The Wednesday night pizza is 1/2 price, & the Old Fashions are $2.00. Can't decide which pizza I like the best, the Reuben Pizza, Chicken Alfredo, Taco or Steak Fijita.

Booked a room for a Friday night.Greeted at the bar upon arrival at 9:00pm. There was about 6 ppl at the bar. We paid for our room, went up to it drop off our stuff. It was about 5 minutes tops to drop our stuff in our room....We were going to have a couple of beers before turning in, but the entryway back to the bar was closed off, as was the dining room entrance. Not cool, especially when we told them we'd be back down in a few minutes. Oh well.Back to our room: small room, expected that. What we didn't expect was the bed to fall off the frame all night :(Probably won't be back for a stay in the hotel....On the plus side, the food we have eaten here several times is very good as is the Bloody Mary's ;)

Great find not far from Appleton. Try the fish fry on Friday but be prepared to wait, there is a wait-usually a good sign of good food. During the week try a burger. They have an open-faced grill in the kitchen and that gives the burgers a really good flavor. Great bartender!

We arrived around 6pm on a Tuesday. This wasn't our first visit, and we had been pleasantly surprised in the past. The place was packed....which we expected since it was the holiday week. They have a major issue with seating. Most of the tables are for parties of 6 to 8 people and they don't have tables for smaller groups or tables for two. Therefore, large tables for 6 or 8 are being tied up by 2 people because there is no where else for them to sit. There are a couple of high tables inside, but you will not have a view of the river....which is the biggest "draw" for this establishment. There was decent live music. Service was ok. When I asked the waitress if they had a "house Chardonnay" she had to check with the bartender. Seemed like something that she should definitely know. The food was the biggest disappointment. They have very few gluten free options. So, I ordered the mandarin salad ($9) with grilled chicken (additional $4) It came out with a generous amount of spring greens, some sliced almonds, a few crumbles of feta cheese, 8 slices of canned mandarin oranges and 8 - 1/2 inch cubes of grilled chicken (A piece of chicken cut into 8 pieces...smaller than a chicken tender....which cost .50 a cube...ridiculous!!) The salad was served with a poppy seed dressing that was a disgusting glob of goo. Even the waitress commented that it looked gross, but upon returning from the kitchen with a different dressing, informed me that the cook said that's the way it always looks. Ick! My husband had a steak sandwich that wasn't bad....but tasted just like heated up Steak-Ums with mushrooms....that costed extra, of course. Over all, we would recommend visiting for the atmosphere, live music and drinks, but grab dinner somewhere else first.

We came in with a party of 8. Six of us had the brunch. The food was warm, but not hot. Four of us noted there were eggshells in the scrambled eggs. My first bite cantaloupe tasted like mold. It was difficult to enjoy the rest of the meal. Brunch cost was $9.75/person which I think is reasonable but I would be not be willing to go again.

The Bridge Bar & Restaurant is a popular four-season destination located in downtown Fremont on the famous Wolf River.
Great pub experience- waterfront view dining in pub or al fresco dockside. Great location to watch activity on Wolf River in "downtown" Fremont. Abby W. provided friendly, impeccable table service during a busy time. Very tasty Wed. pasta special of 2 large meataballs on noodles in gravy- yummy! Burger perfectly cooked and tasty as well. Excellent pub/restaurant fare! Reasonable prices. Have been occasional customers over many years- will be back soon- great place! This visit on April 24 was after sightseeing along Wolf River upstream at Bamboo Bend, Schiocton viewing many very large sturgeon spawning along the bank and waterfowl viewing at Bergstrom Waterfowl Complex (Ducks Unlimited), Van Patten Dr, Schiocton. Wolf River cresting quite high during visit with lowland flooding; Bridge Bar had water about a foot above boat dockage pier deck. Outdoor patio and seating all unaffected by the high water. being a couple feet or so higher. River water temp reportedly 52 degrees and area fishermen looking for spawned out walleyes soon returning down river to the lakes.
