This is my third visit to the restaurant, and it was great again. The place is beautiful. Worm, classy and with a very welcoming atmosphere. The service was most professional. The food, from start to end, was excellent. The self-made smoked salmon was delicious. The meet for main course was just great and the desert looked like a piece of art. I have been a few times to la carroz and the villages surround it. To my opinion, this is the best restaurant in the area.

Fantastic relaxed dining with great food. Lovely attentive staff, smashing wine list. Can’t recommend eating here highly enough, great place to go with family and friends to enjoy good food. Try the ribs or the burger but they have options for veggies too ......... not the norm for french restaurants but this isn’t your normal french restaurant.

More a bar than a restaurant. Excellent ambiance with a small menu and great beers and cocktails.

We have visited here before but decided to go for breakfast this time. The waiter is very friendly and took our order quickly which also arrived promptly. The crepes were delicious and my husband had bread and preserves with butter which was also very fresh. Our drinks were good too. A great place to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine.

My first real poor review in almost 30 previous reviews. I also try very very hard to not leave a poor review but this place needed addressing. I will start with the positives - nice location, helpful waitress. The negatives are mine and my familys dreadful food and experience. My parents ordered the onion soup. It came out and was cold, tasted awful and had a strange piece of bread in it that was inedible as it was so hard. My parents did not eat it and sent it back to the kitchen. Myself and partner had a pizza each - not great - frozen oven for £10 that probably cost a tenth of that. Dreadful. When the bill came my parents were not happy about paying for the soup as they did not eat it. The owner / manager came over and argued that it was fine and that we would have to pay for it. That’s her choice - not a very smart one if you ask me business wise as here I am leaving my bad experience for the next person to hopefully read so they avoid a similar awful fate. Needless to say we will not be going back. This was our first night in Flaine and we will not return to this restaurant. I would recommend no one to eat at this place unless you are desperate as the quality of our food all round was incredibly poor. I almost feel bad for leaving such a review and had the manager acted in an appropriate manner and not charged us for food we SENT BACK and DID NOT EAT I would not be here. I tried not to leave this review but felt compelled to do so. It gets two stars as the girl that serves us was very good. Sorry

Pretty grim skiing conditions - whiteout with lens freezing snow. 8 of us sat down for lunch inside (luxury). The menu was very good and the prices reasonable. Portion sizes made sharing the sensible option. The only downside was the waitress (lovely lady) who brought our order in drubs and drabs, and didn’t quite have the customer balance quiz the right. That was a minor negative and definitely recommended as a food stop.

We had lunch here most days during our skiing break, as well as hot chocolates after skiing. It is ideally located next to the gondola and opposite the big air bag jump which our kids absolutely loved and was free. The service was usually fantastic, the staff fly around so fast. Fish and chips, burgers, croque Monsieur and salads all went down very well and the coffee was excellent.

My favorite place for over 10 years, spent unforgetable moments there but unfortunately the succes has turned the staff into arrogant people. After wating for over 20 min on a relatively empty terrace we started signaling but were being ignored. When we finaly atracted the attention of the guy clearing table he called out loud to a colleque, Please attent to this lady becuase she's in a bad mood' Well I was not yet, the sun was shining bright, but after this remark what would you do when the crowd stairs a you? Thinking maybe i did not speak French..... the waitress made it worse and continued the show, gossiping with the team. What a shame. Waiting is one thing being disrespectful is painful.
