To be honest I have been coming here for years and on reading the most recent reviews I was 50/50 whether we would visit this year.But we ventured over and was pleasantly surprised .. beautiful beach view, listening to chilled tunes from morning to night. Bed hire â¬15 pp not bad at all. Service can be hit and miss- Miguel is fantastic if you are lucky enough to get him If you at heading out this way then youâd be daft not to drop in for a lovely relaxing day on the beach thereâs a huge inflatable âitâs a knock outâ type of thing in the sea which is open to all ages (life jackets supplied) which is great entertainment.

My wife and I visited spot 3 yesterday for lunch. My toasted seafood panini and my wifeâs hotdog were both extremely tasty and really good value for money.Service is typical, laid back Portugal, but hey, when you are on vacation, whatâs the rushEvery time we visit our apartment in Praia da Rocha we pop past here for a meal and itâs always good...

Glad we called in for a drink at this lovely little bar in the centre of Ferragudo.Lillya is lovely and will do anything for you.Recommended are the little Tapas she serves on request and the Choritzo sausage is to die for :)Thanks Lillya and we look forward to our next trip over and re visiting our favourite little bar.

Had a nice lunch here, basic and slightly more expensive than nearby venues but what we wanted at the time and enjoyed it.Returned a couple evenings as staying nearby, stop food in evenings which is a shame and gets lively which is good fun but compared to nearby pubs drinks are more expensive and spirits poured a lot weaker! We actually questioned if any in on our last night so left and did not return. Shame as like said good entertainment.

My husband and I visited Hamburgueria after reading some good reviews. We were not disappointed. We both had the Liberty burgers which were delicious. The chips were also lovely. We dined outside but there is a gorgeous indoor dining space available too. Would definitely recommend

V5 offers something different in Ferragudo with a good selection of tapas giving the opportunity to try a variety of different dishes in a single sitting. We really enjoyed the food, particularly the guisado de frango (chicken stew) and the queijo amanteigado - one of those cheeses that is nearly liquid at room temperature and you spread on little toasts. All the food was good and very good value but what really makes the place is the friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Well worth a visit for a relaxed meal.

We visited Kalu several times last year and were looking forward to eating there again. Whilst we still like the laid back beach style, the atmosphere seemed to lack character and the food was nowhere near as good. The cheese in my goats cheese salad was very disappointing - it seemed to be slices of a processed cream cheese, rather than the grilled, crumbly type I was expecting. The staff were clearly working hard and I really hop Kalu gets its mojo back soon.
