Composition annoncée : salade, tomates, Åuf poché, pommes de terre, lamelles de fromage et lard . L'Åuf n'était pas poché mais dur un peu bleuté donc certainement cuit depuis un bon moment, les lamelles de fromage sont transformées en fromage râpé à moitié cuit par le lard (aspect dégoutant), les pommes de terre trop cuites, le lard pas égoutté versé avec son huile sur la salade et les tomates. deux petits morceaux de pastèque (??) qui trempent dans la graisse du lard. il faut avoir faim pour manger cette assiette, en fait seul le lard était bon. Réponse du serveur à ma réclamation : la salade est toujours servie comme ça.

After strolling through the small empty streets of Epinal looking for a place to eat, we stumbled across a large square filled with tables & what seemed like the entire population of Epinal!On the square there were several restaurants to chose from, we headed in here because when looking at the menu several members of staff said hello to us, but then left us to take a look in our own time, which we appreciated, so we headed indoors to sit down.We were promptly shown menus & the waitress was friendly. We gave our order & our starters came out quickly. I had the foie gras (as I don't get to eat it very often in the UK) which lived up to my memories. My colleague had the quiche Lorraine which was like a main course in itself! Nice big slice of quiche & lots of salad!For mains my colleague had the andouillette, I had the hamburger which was bigger than the size of both my fists put together!! It was tasty also! The only problem was it did take a while for the mains to come out after we'd finished the starters. The desserts & coffees came out quickly. Although everyone seemed to get up to pay at the same time, so the poor waitress was rushed off her feet whilst we waited to pay.All in all a nice meal.

My go-to spot while doing a multi-month project nearby. Superb bar food. It opens earlier (7PM?) than other restaurants. Service is much faster than French restaurants. Since I usually stayed two weeks per trip, classic french dining gets to be a bit much after a while. This place gave me a sweet spot between Micky D's (uhg!) and the nearby restaurants! Best described as a small-town French sports bar. Nice!

De passage à Vittel pour un week-end, les caprices de la météo nous ont amenés par hasard à Epinal où nous nous sommes garés sur la 1ère place de parking que nous avons trouvée, comme par hasard juste devant cette belle enseigne dont la jolie déco et l'accueil chaleureux nous ont directement interpellés. Après avoir bu un apéro, nous avons commandé le plat du jour. Succulent. Tout est frais! Tarif ultra raisonnable. Je recommande!

Excellent place. We were done with 3 course meals and wanted a good dish of pub food with some drinks. The young owner was very friendly and Spoke good English. The place had a Nice pub atmopshere and they served Very big portions of good homemade pub food. Definately recommended! Thanks a lot for your feedback Chris, we're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the place and our meals ! We're looking forward to seeing you again (even if I'm pretty sure that it won't be tomorrow) !
