We use only the freshest ingredients to create authentic, fresh tasting brunch and dinners in a relaxing setting.
Open floor plan, nice ambiance, great fresh food! I have celiac disease and can't eat any gluten, so I was thrilled to find out that most of the menu is gluten-free! Even the nacho chips (which are often fried in a fryer used for gluten-containing foods) and the fried potatoes! Only the tortas and the flour tortillas are off limits for me. Friendly staff, good service!

Sadly, this restaurant has lost its luster. While the service was fine the food was mediocre at best. Stale Chips. Salsa that tasted like tomato sauce instead of any spice. The Taquitos were greasy and dry. The Tacos Al Pastor were also greasy and had too much gristle. We asked the waiter if Flautas were still offered...the response was the we no longer have those ingredients. Seriously, it is made with tortillas, a meat filling and fried. To claim you do not have the ingredients is a lie and an insult. We should have left at that and be spared a sub standard meal.

They were very fast and efficient. Lot of nice people around the bar. Not to loud, and easy to have a conversation.

I have been to this place before and enjoyed a fun evening of drinking and nibbling at starters out on the patio. Unfortunately, this time I was with a friend who couldn't stand the cigarette smoke outside, so we went inside to have dinner. Two problems arose. First, it was tremendously loud inside; I mean deafening. Though I thought at first the high noise level came from a big, boisterous group of men, my friend said it was always very loud. Second, the food items we ordered were average at best. The menu listed eight or ten versions of a big burger, so I figured the place specialized in fine burgers. Wrong. $10 hamburgers should be better than ones I can make at home, and this one definitely was not. I brought part of it home with me to see if I can doctor it up and make it actually tasty. My friend's $10 pizza was a lot of crust with a light coating of cheese and a little sauce. In short, we thought the food was okay but certainly not good enough to bring us back. The best thing about our visit was the server, who was quick, attentive, and pleasant.
Sat after graduation and got great service from Jacob. There seats at the bar are comfortable and there is side seating. Jacob was wonderful serving us. The beer flights were a great value. The Allagash draft and Bull City Ciderworks were both good. The recommended Lyric Pinot Noir was very good. Street parkiing was easily available.

Thoughtfully created, flavorful, scratch made food and drink
We've been hearing about Tangent for creative tacos, and we were not disappointed. The place has a nice brick decor, the staff is helpful, and the food was fresh and delicious. My wife and I shared 4 tacos: a Taco 101 shrimp, a Taco 101 steak, a Spicy Fried Catfish Taco, and a Brussel Truffle Taco, plus two ears of fried corn on the cob (savory). It was fantastic. We'll be back to try some other concoctions - they had many more!
