We have dined at Peninsula Grill before and looked forward to enjoying it again. We selected the Brisket Nachos for a change. Bad choice. First off: NOT MUCH BRISKET. There were only tiny pieces of meat scattered here and there and not many of them. The plate was loaded with very salty chips and canned corn. Not a good value.When we mentioned to the server it was not a good item she said "not enough BBQ?" and I agreed. Seems like even the staff knows the food is poor.We will not return to this restaurant till they get better food reviews.

If youâre venturing slightly away from downtown Traverse and heading in the Old Mission area, this is a great spot. Passed by for lunch and were seated straight away. Good beers, good food and reasonably priced. Service quick, attentive and friendly. Beautiful location too. Pizza is delicious. Crab tots good too. Falafel wrap a nice option as well. Highly recommended.

We were on our way back from Old Mission Lighthouse and stopped here, per a recommendation by someone at the Visitor's Center. The cherry chicken salad was very tasty. There's an art center attached, so we perused that after we ate. Good service and great place to stop for lunch.

The inside of this restaurant is very cool. Large bar area, lots of seating options. Nice outdoor deck and bar. Hard to choose just one item on the menu - so many nice options. Really nice beer and wine menu. I would absolutely go back.

This bar is located in the very nice town of Elk Rapids. It is a typical bar with bar food. The Gyro's were very good.They have a pool table in the back. Long bar with a number of tables.It is really the only bar in town. We wanted to watch the Tigers game. The bartender was not the best. Sat at the bar and had to ask a couple of times for another drink. We could not understand why the Tiger game was not on. They were playing some far away football game. We asked if he could put the Tigers game on one TV. I guess too much trouble for the bartender. We left early.

Went up to Pearl's with neighbors on a Sunday evening,and the place was packed,and this was after Labor Day,so it was mostly just us locals.Got seated fairly quickly,and the waitress was very attentive,and thoroughly explained all of the evening's specials in detail.The food was excellent,and decent sized,and served hot,as it should be....Surprised they didn't offer Short's Beer, as it's brewed just down the street.Just two minor criticisms, that perhaps the management might address,would be to turn up the lights a little bit so older people could read the menu,and put some whoopee cushions on the chair seats so they aren't so hard.Other than that,it's a great place to go for dinner.
