Great food, prepared and served well. That's what eating out should be about and it is what you will find at The Inn at Lathones. The Inn at Lathones has always had a superb reputation for its food and over the years has won and retained many awards for i

A simple pub, no fancy decor, almost the reverse. Lovely friendly staff. The best Cullen Skink on the planet, Rich creamy, full of fresh fish. Incredible. If you're in need of a big breakfast, this is the place too.

Already listed as a hotel but the bar and restaurant are also very popular with non residents; Trip Advisor pages make it difficult to review the restaurant on its own.
Stopped in for lunch with mixed family group. Accommodated 7 of us. Menu was good with veggie and vegan choices. Our choices were adapted according to request. The service was helpful and efficient and the food was good. There were tables outside for drinks on a rare gloriously sunny day.

This is not a place to come if you want to have a conversation. The place is very crowded, reservations absolutely essential. The tables are very close together and it seems popular with families. Our group last night finally gave up and ate in silence. However, the food is quite good--we had everything from fajitas to sea bass and all were excellent. We were amazed at how quickly the food came to us--the fastest service we experienced in three weeks in Scotland. The waitress encouraged us to order seafood--she said it was what they are known for. Those that did order it, said it was excellent. I had two appetizers for my entree and the calamari was unusual--very large rings, but good. The portions are quite large and the desserts were wonderful.

Lovely village pub with sun-filled beer garden (when Scottish weather allows). Great range of beers spirits - including Hop House 13, Joker IPA, Guinness, Addlestone's Cloudy Cider and Tennent's lager. Excellent wine list with super selections from old an
Visited with my two daughters. Was informed of a big wait for food which was no problem. Ordered x2 fish and chips and chips along with a bowl of chips. In less than ten minutes our food arrived. If thatâs a long wait I wonder what a shot wait is Food was tasty and the best fish he had in years. Left full and happy. Wonderful place with friendly helpful staff. Will definitely make a return visit as the chowder looks amazing. No photos as was too busy eating What a lovely review! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your comments. It was a delight to serve you and your two lovely daughters and Iâm just glad we could fit you in and serve you without much of a wait. Hopefully see you all again in the not too distant future. Tim

With its low, beamed ceilings, wonderful stone walls, dark wood furnishings, interesting nooks and crannies and perfect ambient lighting, the Dreel Tavern is the epitome of cosy comfort, and is a fascinating ancient building. This is a really lovely pub and although they clearly major in dining, casual drinkers are made to feel most welcome. Service is slick, efficient and welcoming and our beers were very good. This is most definitely not what Iâd call a traditional Scottish pub, but certainly as far as sheer style and cosy ambience is concerned, this is probably the nicest pub in Anstruther.

The Station Buffet Bar is a traditional local pub situated in the coastal village of Elie, in the East Neuk of Fife. With an impressive selection of beer, malt whisky and wine, and a delicious snack menu served throughout the day, youâll find something fo
We popped in for a couple of drinks after lunch at The Pavilion. The lady behind the bar was friendly and seemed to be more than happy to be 'wound up' by the locals who were in. The beer was good and, my wife told me, the wine pretty much average pub quality. All in all, we were pleased to have visited again, having not been in since it changed from being 'Braids'.Thanks for the review Stuart. We have upgraded our wine list recently and hope to see you again soon.

The 19th Hole, at Earlsferry, overlooks the 4th Tee of Elie Links and is a hidden gem of the East Neuk, all food is fresh, locally sourced and cooked in view in their open kitchen. The 19th Hole offers the bunker room for Private Dining for up to 20 and t
On a cold and blustery September day, this pub provided a warm and welcoming refuge. Very friendly service, good food. Televisions with sport, but I guess that is inevitable here.Thank you for you fabulous feedback hope to see you again Much loveMichelle Wilson

The Ship Inn at Elie in Fife has long been one of Scotland's most iconic pubs, famous for its great views, stunning location, and even as the only pub in the world to have a cricket team with a pitch on the beach. The owners, Graham and Rachel Bucknall, w
Had yet another good night here, in the restaurant for a change so completely sober. Rosie was on duty and navigated complex requests with aplomb and a smile. Must be a management thing; they all looked relaxed while performing.Thank you for your review - I am thrilled to hear you enjoyed your evening with us and I will be sure to pass on your comments to Rosie. We hope to see you again in the future!
