We came upon Bar Medano on a trip out from Los Cristianos on the 'bus. The seafront is quaint with an Art Deco hotel. Further along on the right of the boardwalk is Bar Medano. There was only one table available so we grabbed it and ordered our food and drink. Although we had to wait sometime for our order to arrive as it was so busy it was worth it. I don't know what teabags they use but it was one of the best Earl Grey teas I have ever tasted. I ordered another and then enjoyed my baguette and chips, the latter being perfect and not at all greasy. Other members of the family had a similar snack to mine and we sat leisurely watching the activities on the beach and boardwalk. I believe the Bar was at one time the only English bar in Medano but this had been scrubbed off to a degree although it was still legible. I'd recommend if you were visiting the resort as it is near to a large golf complex and sea-kiting/sufing facilities.

Very Very friendly bar and restaurant. Perfect spot on the beach front. Prices are very reasonable and good portion size, as well as quality food. Service is extremely fast and friendly. You can tell the staff work extremely hard. Very child friendly. A lot of the staff interacted with my young children making the whole experience very enjoyable. Traditional Spanish bar.

Will NEVER go back again. My partner got his food relatively fast which was well cooked and good. My food arrived about 20 minutes later and was all too much fry, tasted nothing else. Then there were both dishes and hairs in the food. The service was disastrous, the food was thrown out on the tables and when I pointed out that it was not ok he shrugged his shoulders and proceeded. We ordered an extra glass of wine both of which we did not get but that they would have paid for !!!Avoid this place !!

During our stay in El Medano, this became one of our favourite cafes to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Situated on the beach front it provides a perfect view of the surfers and also has shelter from the ever present wind. Unfortunately cannot comment about the food as we only ever had drinks but these were always served with a smile and a friendly chat. We saw others eating and the food looked good, there was also a very good choice of drinks and smoothies on the menu. Although we never ate we didn't feel rushed. Highly recommended.

When I think of soul I think of northern soul or black American artists. So letâs start on a positive note. The bread & wine were good as it makes me think of communion. The little Westie pup sitting as I went in was a delight to see and gave me a great welcome. A definite moocher if I ever saw one. It wasnât long till he was up on his legs looking for a bite from his master. He could have had my chicken in breadcrumbs gladly if his lead was long enough to stretch to my table. He would have had trouble chewing them though if his teeth werenât good. Iâve had the best Mojo in Tenerife at El Cine so I think I know what good tastes like. This wasnât even close. I would have liked to tell â Manfredâ he needs to up his game but he is never here Maybe you need to taste the grub you are selling pal.

Read reviews before going to Flashpoint and we werenât disappointed. Itâs in a great spot, at the end of the boardwalk. We enjoyed a few drinks (2 pints, glass of white wine and coffee) with our lunch (chicken burger and tuna baguette) all for around â¬20. The food was freshly prepared onsite and very tasty. Service was very friendly. Great views over the beach and a lovely spot to watch the kite surfing from.

Went during the day with mates when the markets were on... cocktails were nice & refreshing. Went back again later that evening & service was pretty slow, took a while to get served our drinks. Itâs a busy bar, nice vibes...Food menu looks good...

Staff exceptionally courteous and attentive throughout our visit. Meal was very good. Starters were more than plentiful and very flavoursome. Main course was good but would have preferred to personally control how much cheese was grated over mine as was done prior to delivery to the table. Pudding choice was limited however both choices we made of tiramisu and hot brownie were more than generous in size and pleasant. Would recommend as a perfect summer meal out. Enjoyed watching the world go by as we ate outside in the evening sunset. Very quaint.

Nice place and beautiful view over Medano's playas and kitesurfers. Big salads, wraps and sandwiches. They also have special spicy chips. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Everyday there's a special dish, just look at the small blackboard on the wall. Attentive and young staff. Maybe a little pricy but in the area average. Great for lunch.

Yet again, we have been treated to fantastic service. Friendly, efficient and always welcoming. This bar has a wonderful selection of drinks and snacks and is perfect to spend time relaxing in the sunshine, with views of the beach and the red mountain.
