Sensitively restored and brimming with countryside charm, The Meadowpark offers British pub hospitality. Mixing classic recipes and modern dishes, the menu is dictated by the seasons, with daily-changing specials also on offer. The bar is amply stocked wi
Place was not busy, despite this the service was very slow - we were there an hour and a half just for a main course at lunch time. Also tried to charge us for an extra drink. The barman did not seem surprised in the slightest and took it off when questioned. Poor, would expect much better.Dear amysum1953,Thanks for taking the time to review your visit to The Meadowpark.Being over charged is never acceptable â sorry. We make every effort to ensure that the correct items are allocated to the correct bills. However, as with everything in life, human error is a factor. The staff are trained not to dispute a bill query to avoid embarrassment for the customer at the point of payment. I suspect this explains the reaction and that he also immediately realised the error. We find that no fuss is always the best policy.I am disappointed that your inference is that it was a deliberate act and that you chose to unfairly publish this on social media. We donât always get it right (a quick scan of other recent reviews might give a more balanced assessment of our business) but if you had chosen to speak to the manager on duty Iâm am confident we could have resolved the mistake. Its good to talk.Kind regards,Siobhan

This is perfectly situated below Stirling castle. We went on the way down after visiting the castle and were after a good pub lunch to satisfy our bellies. It didnât disappoint. Great selection of food on offer, friendly and helpful staff and served quickly. We ordered the steak pie and chips which was cooked beautifully. Prices are great value, I would say slightly less than a standard pub lunch price.Overall very happy, I would go back if I visited Stirling again.

Welcoming, friendly and attentive staff in ambient surroundings. On our most recent visit we were visiting with friends for Sunday Lunch (13.00) - disappointingly and strangely two (out of three|) main courses offered as daily specials were no longer available? The food we ordered was however tasty and well presented. Would still recommend this restaurant.

We rediscovered the Birds and Bees following our sons Wedding here at the beginning of September. We were very impressed with the venue and the food so we came back for dinner last week. We were not disappointed. Excellent food, excellent service in a relaxed atmosphere. It can get very busy so we would recommend that you book to avoid disappointment. Highly recommended.

The Crook Bar serves Tapas, fine wine and cold beer. It's causal dining at its best, so you can either sit down at a table, stand or sit at the bar to eat and drink in our atmospheric little bar. We've matched the wines with the food, so why not come see
Bloody love the crook! Been a few times and each time it's relaxed, fun and just a lovely place to be. The food, for me, has gotten even better. My three friends and I booked for Saturday past and shared 12 tapas dishes between us which was more than enough- I refused to share my churros though! Staff attentive and chilled kept checking on us for drinks but without being annoying. Only thing we missed was the live music which must have been the only Saturday they haven't had any but an excuse to go back nonetheless! Well done to owners and staff for making each trip a great one!Wow! Thanks very much for taking time out to write this! As you know we have music on every Saturday, but someone pulled out at short notice last week and it was too late to get a replacement Anyway, looking forward to seeing you again very soon!

We visited after a day at Stirling antlers and before going to the nearby university for a talk from Gordon Buchanan. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food we each had something different but all agreed it was lovely, nice friendly staff although a long wait for the food to come, 2 other tables were seated after us but their food came first which was not well received by 4 hungry waiting customersHey there,Thanks tor your great review!Sorry about the timing of your food delivery, depending on your order some meals take longer to cook. Highland chicken can take up to 30mins to cook and if your table ordered this, that may be the reason.I hope this helps? We look forward to seeing you again. The Westy team.

Had booked a 2 night stay in Dunblane and found a deal for here on itison to use while we were in the area. The deal was a sharing cocktail and sharing platter for £18, it was amazing value- my husband and I struggled to finish the sharing platter. The cocktail we chose was so nice, and we stayed for another. We then went back the same evening for dinner and another few drinks. I had nachos which were huge!!! My husband had a hot dog which he really enjoyed. The only tiny annoying thing is we wanted to order another cocktail before we returned to the hotel for the night, however the waiter was busy chatting to a friend so we ended up paying and leaving earlier than planned. Previous to this his service was excellent though, I guess he was maybe fed up as the place was dead we were the only customers.

We were down in Dunblane for our first wedding anniversary and found this restaurant the best in town. Food delicious, staff very friendly and welcoming, cosy atmosphere and prices reasonable. Would definitely recommend this place above all others to eat in town.
