Called on a Saturday evening - it was around 6.00pm and we hadn't made a reservation. Although it was quiet at that time, the waiter advised us that the "better" tables at the back in the terrace were all reserved. We were given a smaller table just opposite the entrance to the loos. We noticed most diners didn't arrive until we had finished and we were about to leave Apart from that, the waiters were jolly, efficient and humourous. The menu is limited but the food is good and the prices reasonable. There's a small selection of draft beers and a large selection of bottles. We had a main course eachâ and two drinks each. The special Spijtigenburger was large and v tasty. Overall a pleasant evening - we'll be back.

With former colleagues we decided to return to this place where we had had several lunches until two years ago.We now went for an diner and reserved a table outside. Nice terrace, comfortable seats, welcoming staff.A drink, starter, main, and desert. All of which just missed that little something to make it great. Not bad at all, but if they did just that little bit better in the kitchen, I would have said great. It missed some finishing, just that tasty side, in each one of the dishes ordered.A bit disappointing was that several of their wines on the already limited wine list were not available.In the end, we had a nice evening, but I would not look to go back here, although I would not refuse to go back either.

travel to brussels the first time, only stay for one night, and of course have to go mussels & fries. Checked this one online and made a reservation, which turned out to be very wise, coz so many customers coming. Lovely vibe, warm service, and most of all, truly delicious beer, mussels(garlic+cheese flavor) and fries (w/Mayonnaise source), and good value for price (27euro in total).
