Ok,commercial, and the usual menu that you would get at this type of establishment. However the food, service and vibe was very good, not excellent but very good.I would visit again, but I wouldnât go out of my way to do so.They have got so much opposition in Doncaster, so do your homework first.

Cocktails, Live Music Thursdays, Lunches, Celebrations, Casual Bar And Grill
Visited with work colleagues and after hearing good things about the place from another colleague I was looking forward to my visit, but personally I was hugely disappointed. It resembles any other town centre bar/kitchen, with the usual crowd of young kids, but this being Donny it had a fair few older piss heads as well.Service was fairly slow, and when my enormous calamari came I had a couple of pieces and gave up; the squid was obviously manufactured by Good Year. The seafood chowder seemed to be a few overcooked fish in a tasteless sauce, which presumably was just a carton of warmed up double cream. There was very little flavour if any, and the fish itself was almost rock hard. Can't see myself rushing back here.

A basic sort of pub in a nice spot. A limited but good choice of beers and lagers, worth going for the choice of sharing platters - British, Med, Eastern European, a cheese board, a couple of others. Watched other customers tucking in and it all looked delicious. Spent a pleasurable couple of hours there.

We visited last Saturday after a recommendation from friends. The risotto was recommended in particular and I was really looking forward to it. ....but the menu had changed!I mentioned this to the waitress and she told the chef....who made it for me specially! It was gorgeous and so was everything else we had - and they gave us 10% off our food even though we had forgotten the voucher. Lovely place, very friendly and welcoming, excellent service and great food (and wine âº). We will definitely be back and wish you every success!Hi Andrea,Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review after your visit to Canters. We pride ourselves in our food and service, our chefs will always try and accommodate requests if possible, so glad you enjoyed your food, wine, and service. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Welcome to The Whitehorse Inn Our traditional country inn is full of character & charm, set in the beautiful village of Misson just out side Bawtry Come & join us for a meal, our guestsâ love the warm & friendly atmosphere Our passion is good fresh food,
With friends, we visited this quaint old village pub in the quiet village of Misson. The landlords, Elaine and Michael, proved to be the perfect hosts. We were shown to outdoor seating to take pre-dinner drinks and view the enticing menu. Michael, the chef, came to our table to answer our menu questions while Elaine served the drinks. Our starters of calamari and classic prawn cocktail were well received. The main dishes were even better including salmon and prawns in a thermidor sauce. The special beef wellington had a perfectly cooked steak sandwiched by pate and a beautiful fluff pastry case. With desserts, drinks and gratuities the bill came to £45 per head, well worth it for such perfect food and friendly service.
