One of my best food experiences ever...We visited âMehana Bai Kotseâ the last night before leaving Bansko and I was just sorry that I wouldnât come back...At least not for this year. We were lucky finding a table near the fireplace (exactly what you see in the photo of the restaurant),4 adullts and 2 children. We order lamb, pork, chicken, the specialty that they have on one plate with the fires, french fries,a huge salade and of course wine.Everything tasty and fresh and really big portions. They had live music that I loved, they even played and sang in Greek, when they realised that we were Greeks.Service excellent (the waiter was speaking English, but one of us also speaking Bulgarian). And yes...You will meet Santa Claus outside of this restaurant!!! Iâve eaten in more luxurious restaurants, but I can not compare them with the genuine quality of eating just simple, fresh, well cooked food. The welcome was so warm (if you spend the whole day in the cold mountains, you appreciate this more). Definitely recommend this place!!!All of us will keep it as a wonderful memory!

Having visited a couple of other bars and restaurants in the town and been extremly disspointed - I and my party of 5 walked into Gingers, with quite low expectations. We were so wrong! we were met by smiling staff, who engaged in conversation straight away. We were ( for the first time during our stay in Bansko) macde to feel welcome. We ordered drinks, and they arrived, served perfectly, so you could see what you were drinking, spirits served separately with glasses of ice, and newly opened bottles of mixers. I know this sounds normal to most - but our experience to date had been somewhat different in Bansko! The menu was huge, something for everyone. We ordered and waitied, again out expecttions where quite low due to the size of the menu. what arrived was all round excellent! lamb, duck, ribs, steak, and duck liver on a bed of apples (mine) which was simply delicious. The band started, and much to our suprise they could all sing (unlike last nights!). The staff were excellent Mario, our waiter, was attentive, but not pushy, and he smiled!!! so we stayed hand another drink, enjoyed watching the banter between staff, and listened to come great covers....all in all a really pleasant night!

I was really looking forward to going here as I have visited in the past however this time I was disappointed. I had the cornflake chicken which were okay but not as tasty as I have had, a bit dry. My daughter had a pizza which again was alright, she also ordered the coconut chocolate ice cream dish which we waited ages for but still came frozen, she had marks on her hand where she tried to gouge it out with her spoon. My other daughter had bananas in pyjamas which she really enjoyed.

Burgers and smoked BBQ including ribs, beef brisket, pulled pork, sausage and more
As good a bar as Bansko has to offer, great central location for all the winter activities, very friendly staff, great decor and facilities, lovely menu, with special mention for the âhome smoked ribsâ just delicious, maybe a little expensive compared with âlocalâ restaurants but the quality makes it worthwhile. With various entertainment on some nights, with a well attended weekly quiz, Smokeyâs is the bar for everyone.

The Irish Harp Bar and Restaurant are proud to only serve County Kildare beef imported fresh from Ireland.
We were there on the 17th of March, St. Patrickâs day. The bar was really busy, lots of orders, lots of people. Thumbs up to the staff, and the owner, they were trying their best to serve everyone on time, and they succeed it.We were sitting on the bar, drinking Guinness. We order a salad with beef ( really tasty, with a touch of umami with the lemon ), a Guinness Pie, and of course the burger. It was really great, you can taste the pure meat. The burger ban was one of the best I have ever try.
