We had a group of 11 and were seated about 90 minutes before closing, that and a private party the floor below us may be the reason I was underwhelmed. Nothing lacking, but nothing stood out for excellence. We spent 8 days in the area, ate out everyday and this was the least memorable.

We had some good times and god pizza here! Hey you guys! this tiny place has it all. Tons of charm and character, great service and decent pizza. Most importantly cold beer and good prices, cash only you must understand. With their own ATM Keith and his small team really do a good job keeping your glass full. With the biggest little place in BSL they also have plenty of outdoor seating and Friday night turtle races! thats right, turtle. We will def be going back!Urban CowgillAug 2018

200 North Beach Restaurant was birthed after Katrina by Ms Ann Tidwell and her family. Local Residents helped to restore the historic Echo building on the Gulf Coast scenic byway. The walls are adorned with old photographs as precious to local's as the be
This is primarily a seafood restaurant, but the also have steaks and we had one person who is allergic to fish with us. The menu states "aged and hand-cut well marbled for peak flavor" for the steak. The appetizers, service and seafood was all good. However, the Steak was horrible! NO marbling at all! the steak was ordered rare. It was a consistent color all the way thru with no fat lines anywhere. I would expect a steak like this from a Denny's or O'Charley's...cut too thin, low quality meat, etc.The good thing is if you avoid the steak everything is good.

The food, the people, the atmosphere...everything was fresh and delightful! I learned what a Bushwacker was too and now that is my new favorite drink. We had catfish when we were there and it was terrific. Definitely a place to check out when you are in the Bay.

Extremely below average pizza that's way over priced for my wallet.... the pizza crust was mildly chewy and there was literally no sauce on the pizza... i peeled back the cheese and found literally no sauce.... save your money and go to a local domino's, pizza hut, or papa's johns or better yet find another place in the area that serves much better pizza.... I gave it 2 stars because im nice.

Before deciding to go to this restaurant, my husband and I read the Trip Advisor reviews. The rating average was 4.5. Sounded great. I'm not sure if this restaurant changed ownership or not, but this was by far the worst dining experience we have ever had. We have a group of about 16 friends that go out every week to different local restaurants. We always call ahead, so the restaurant knows we're coming and can prepare for the large group. Not sure what happened last night, but this was truly a nightmare. We actually all felt sorry for the waitress, who even tried to help out in the kitchen. The first two meals came out and then it took about 10 minutes for the next two meals, then 10 minutes for the next two meals...you get the picture. Almost an hour and a half after the first couple recieved their meal, the last couple to receive their meal couldn't even eat the food because it was so overcooked. When we talked to the manager he said he knew it was bad and said that he was missing a cook. Too bad, so sad. He could have at least come over to our table to apologize or asked us to give his restaurant another chance by giving us a discount on our next visit. The Smokehouse Grill just lost 16 guests who will definitely not give even one thumb up on this restaurant.

Casual waterfront dining offering great seafood, steaks, wings and daily specials. Large screen TV for sporting events.
A little background: the Harbor House was hit-or-miss for several years but when it was for sale but still open, the quality going downhill. It finally sold and became Lazy Gator. Lazy is a good name for it. There is nothing to recommend this place. The food is not very good and the prices are pretty high. On our last visit, and I do mean LAST visit, we had the burger, a poor boy (both pretty weak) and a fish entree that was supposed to be fresh red snapper but was actually frozen tilapia. Hey, take your chances if you must, but we've been twice and are not going back.Joey B - You are a prefect example of todayâs keyboard warrior. You go around trashing local restaurants (even ones that arenât open), and then write one supporting your buddies business. The majority of people see right through your review(s). That all being said, Iâll address your âissuesâ. Burger...which burger?? We offer several, which if it was our regular 1/2 pound angus beef burger served with all the fixinsâ and fries for $11, thatâs a pretty good deal. Same with our po boy (not âpoorâ boy as you call it ). We have several and to just generalize as âpretty weakâ, is a major cop out on your part. If you order the snapper, you got snapper, not tilapia as you falsely stated. Tilapia has never once ever been in our restaurant and we do not falsely advertise our products. We also have several ways itâs prepared - whole snapper (which is the way itâs mostly served in the Caribbean and snapper fillets). My wife and I are at the restaurant all the time and if you had any issues with anything you could have brought it to our attention and we would have addressed it (like we always do in ALL our restaurants). Instead, you chose the cowardly way of todays society and wait to hide behind a keyboard instead of confronting an issue in person. Iâm glad you wonât be back, as you are not welcome. We donât need your ânegativeâ vibes around us or our customers. But, if you feel the need to come chat with me feel free.Chip

Thanks to a friend for inviting me. Have eaten here several times as a guest and the service is top notch -- But my Catfish Sandwich was enormous and cooked just right -- Ample and tasty!

Daily drink and food specials! Karaoke every Wednesday and Friday! Trivia every Tuesday!
Three of us enjoyed the half pound burgers. Two split one burger while the other got a burger with hard fired egg and bacon on it. Very tasty. The beer and wine were all served very cold. This is a good place to eat; smoke free also.

This little-known restaurant just south of the interstate near Diamondhead offers a comfortable atmosphere with a nice open view of the surrounding water, an appealing and diverse menu and great service. The food was excellent and priced competitively with others in the area. We had not been there in a while, but will definitely visit again soon!
