What a great place! The venue itself is fab, the indoor outdoor restaurant really gives the impression you are eating outside :) Staff were all friendly even though it was quite busy when we visited. Our orders were taken promptly and starters arrived in good time. We had the sharing baked Camembert (£11) and 3 mini Yakitori chicken sticks. Starters were really good! Only slight drawback was we were sat with our empty starter plates for quite a while, when they were cleared a complimentary sorbet was brought over for us, literally less than a minute later our mains arrived giving us no time to actually eat the sorbet. We all opted for pizza with sides of sweet potato wedges (which were huge!) chips (oh the chips!) and onion rings (giants!) The food was brill :) cannot wait to go back!

Ordered pork cobs with my wife, the amount of fat in them was ridiculous, there was no attention when they were put together. Spoilt our hole experience, felt sick after...

First visit here. There is plenty of parking available. The restaurant is in a lovely setting, with great views of the surrounding grounds. I went to meet a friend for food. We got there before the evening rush. They only take bookings for large parties, so you take your chances when visiting. It was pretty much full when we left around 7.30.The menu is extensive. You probably pay £1-2 more per course than similar restaurants, but it's fairly priced for the location and they have a good selection of meals for vegetarians and vegans. The desserts were the stand out part of the meal, though. As well as the desserts on the menu, they have a separate dessert counter, which leaves you spoilt for choice. I went for the chocolate brownie, which came with white chocolate and raspberry ice cream and fresh raspberries. My friend was more than a little jealous when she saw that! No complaints with the food or the service and i would definitely go back just to have the dessert again.

My husband purchased a Groupon voucher for our wedding anniversary meal however due to Groupon messing up the voucher and not refunding it (long story) we lost out. However when we contacted Sammy the manager (and also chef) she was so obliging and helpful, and went out of her way to make sure that when we finally was able to come and have a meal we werenât disappointed. When we arrived the staff had dressed the table with an anniversary banner and even a card! The meal was SO delicious (4th time eating there) and every meal has been so good. Every type of steak is tasty so whichever you choose you canât go wrong. You cook it yourself on a super hot stone plate which is actually great as you can cook it to your liking. HUGE portions, even if you have a big appetite you will be full! All steaks come with the best chunky chips, salad, tomatoes and large mushroom.Nice atmosphere too, great selection of all the usual bar drinks/wines/spirits etc. Modern setting. Staff knowledgable and friendly.FORGET going to Emilyâs steakhouse as itâs absolute rubbish. Spend your well earned money wisely and go to The Forge. Book early and donât get a table too late as they may run out of your favourite cut of meat! See you again in November Forge This is fantastic... thank you for your review xx

Hide burger bar is a cozy friendly establishment in the centre of Derby. We offer a Great selection of Amazing brunches - Burgers and the best ever Sunday lunch. Book a table now to come and see what we are all about.
Have been to Hide several times now and each time I go, the food seems to get progressively saltier! The chips are beyond being lightly seasoned; I've woken up this morning desperate for water which shows just how much salt I consumed last night (and no I'm not hungover - I only had one glass of wine!) As well as this, the service was lacklustre and the drinks expensive - £4.10 for 2/3 of a pint of lager! I'm not sure why they insist on this, but all the burgers I initially liked the look of also had some sort of hot element to them - buffalo sauce, chilli cheese, green chilli sauce. However, to be fair to the waitress, they were accommodating when I asked for no chilli sauce on my halloumi burger. Hide has got a good atmosphere, and generally the food is ok, perhaps just not to my taste. Hi. Thank you for your feedback. We will look into the seasoning of the fries and offer the option of salted or unsalted in future. Our menu offers 10 burgers that donât have any chilli/hot element to them. And 5 that have chilli elements to them. However. We are always happy to swap out any of the ingredients to suit the customer. Regarding the price of the draught beer - we have huge overheads as you can imagine for a city centre establishment and I can assure you we price this not only competitively and never to over price our product. We are an independent business and always work very hard to please everyone but we also are aware this is not always possible. If you ever chose to return I will make sure personally to greet you and take care of you to make sure your experience is a better one. Thank you.

We are a traditional village public house and restaurant with bags of character. Offering a wide and varied range of real ales and freshly prepared home cooked food. Meals can even be purchased from our very own Village Shop!!
We came across this pub when our walk was rained off. It was a typical country pub full of people chatting and enjoying themselves but it is obvious that it is also a "proper" restaurant laid for "proper" diners! However, we ate in the pub and the food could not have been any better if we had seated ourselves in the restaurant as it was excellent. They do advise that food is cooked to order and so there may be a wait but the atmosphere in the pub was lively and entertaining so was not a problem for us. This was a good find on a miserable day.
