Rather pleasant place with good view over 18th hole. Part of the links hotel and as such is the 19th hole for golfers. However many non golfers here, walkers with dogs, some from campsite and those staying locally. Barrel of Woodfordeâs Wherry on bar. Mixture of armchairs and basic tables. Sky/Bt sport on screens. Varied menu from ciabatta, pizza and classics(curry, fish & chips, pie etc) at very reasonable prices. Good sized portions and well cooked food. During summer seems to be open till around 9pm so do evening meals .No Wifi though.

Been a few times now and can honestly say The White Horse Inn ticks all the boxes. Lovely friendly staff who always make you welcome. The food is very good with the Sunday roast beating many larger places that specialise in carveries. I can certainly recommend the beef on Sunday,s along with the gravy.Food is also available in the week apart from Monday, again offering a wide choice from there menu.Whilst waiting for you drink theirs always someone at the bar to have a chat with.A dog friendly pub apart from the main restaurant area, naturally, but everywhere else you can sit with your dog and have a meal. There,s also a lovely courtyard if you prefer to sit outside.

Havenât been here for a while, but stopped in for a hearty meal and we werenât disappointed.......Everything is excellently priced, a real bargain! Food portions are decent and filling and staff are friendly. It is a very local pub but everyone is made welcome. Good place to get together with fellow locals and have a good chatter....Worth a visit.

We stayed at the incleborogh caravan club site, and decided to go out for a few drinks and meal at the village inn. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile, we were taken to our seats and we had already ordered our roast pork and roast lamb dinners, when our roast dinner came out........ OMG what a plate full and how lovely the food was, too much for my wife, but if you want a great roast dinner this is the place to go and at a good price. The puddings were fantastic as well and a good choice. The staff were fantastic and the beer was good as well. We will be going back again and again a fantastic meal.Thank you

We were staying at the adjacent Country Club and there was a games night. We decided to eat in the bar whilst attending. A shared starter and 2 mains. All cooked very nicely. Certain mains were offered in both small and normal portions. We went for small and were ample. Staff were excellent.

Popped in mid-afternoon on a recent lovely Sunday afternoon and quickly found a table with a view of the pier. Complementary nachos on the end of the bar with a couple of dips, a good wine and beer list and attentive friendly staff. Burgers were excellent and came with a side order of fries - we were certainly not left wanting. We would definitely recommend a visit.

Two visits on the same day. Cheeky pint after our walk from Sheringham ( and to check on the crick score) then a return visit later in the afternoon after hearing great music filtering onto the pavement.. The Colective offered an excellent afternoon of 'energised ' music, the saxophone player topped it for me. The drinks were priced in keeping with other venues locally, good choice and plenty of staff to serve. Big screens had different live sports showing. For us this was a fabulous find for a Sunday chill out session and a few cheeky pints. Shame we didn't win The Ashes but you can't have everything in life! Oh and good free WiFi.

The Red Lion hotel, bar and restaurant has a history dating back to 1766 when the inn was first built. Today we offer fresh, local produce, fine Norfolk ales, and 15 en suite rooms.
We went 1 evening bar area very busy good selection of drinks especially ales but slightly overpriced I had fish platter to find small prawns out of a frozen bag and most other fish upon platter seemed to have a similar taste shame as being on a seaside coat full of lovely fish Dear Smelly230374,Thank you for your review.I'm disappointed you did not enjoy your fish platter when you visited us in May. The assiette of seafood was one of our most popular dishes and we never had complains regarding that dish. The menu has since changed since you dined with us with lots of fresh fish on it.We do not use frozen food - our fish is brought in fresh every morning.Had your issues been raised with the manager on shift when they checked back on your table they would have happily either replaced the dish or changed it for something else on the menu.Hayley
