Located on The Parade, The Yachtsman has an enviable terrace with views over The Solent and beyond. An Idea venue for morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner or maybe a glass of wine or real ale watching the world go by! The Yachtsman offers great
Came here with friends for a Cowes week meal and was impressed by the service (well done to Josh who had only recently started) and the quality of the fish and seafood. I ordered the hot seafood platter (see photo) and it was delicious. The mussels were the highlight, but all cooked really well and with respect to the quality produce.

Called here 11th July 2019 after a visit to Isle of Wight. Guy behind the bar possibly manager , landlord was welcoming and took our food and drinks order. 2 cheese , pickle sandwiches with side salad dressing and sml but tasty portion of chunky chips along with 2 beers came to around £23 (I think ) fast service too and really tasty . All in All well worth a visit and we will be back again for sure. It's a great walk from the red jet ferry along the seafront to this place and for those interested it's around 2km walk too but on a nice day it's totally worth it .

The Anchor is situated in the very heart of Cowes town centre and its bustling International yachting scene. Opposite Cowes Yacht Haven and just a short stroll from the Red Jet ferry terminal, it is the ideal place to relax after a hard day on the water.
Took friends here and had a fabulous Sunday Roast, excellent meat with fluffy roast potatoes just like you make at home, seasonal veg and thick tasty gravy.Service is friendly and quick and good atmosphere in the bar.Highly recommended

The Lifeboat stands proudly over East Cowes Marina, which is a huge favourite of visiting yachtsmen in the summer, but also a family-friendly home-from-home for locals too. In the summer, our large outside decking area offers one of the best riverside din
Sadly I have to say that this establishment was somewhat of an anti climax. Great setting with views across the river, nice selection of drinks. However the big let down is with the food.We both ordered the Char Grilled Locally Made Burgers. The presentation was good, fries were OK but the biggest disappointment was with the Burger - OK it may have once been Char Grilled. But our Burgers were without doubt reheated - in a microwave possible? When your paying Higher end prices you don't expect to receive Wetherspoons grade of Food. You really do need to up your Game and stop the misleading descriptions.

Popped in here whilst visiting Cowes during our holiday. The menu is nothing extra ordinary, mostly consisting of normal Café fair (my favorite), but the difference in our experience is that it is cooked and presented wonderfully.I had a burger, my Wife some battered fish. Both were extremely tasty and at a very reasonable cost. The service too was excellent, very helpful staff and freshly cooked food arriving in a timely fashion. Our best meal of the holiday we reckon. Will definitely go back when next on the island.
