The Margaret River Hotel is a local landmark... A meeting point for friends, a comfortable place to rest your head for the night, a busy restaurant and a popular drinking hole. A true local pub right in the heart of town. Step outside our front door and y
Visited recently on a Saturday night in August (I would recommend booking as it was quite busy) and tried their Beef Wellington style steak sandwich. It was really tasty with a new twist to the traditional Beef Wellington. Pudding for desert was very good too. Nice ambience with log fire burning. Friendly service. Recommended.

First things first: nice to meet you and a very warm welcome to Margaret River. Weâre Caves Road Collective. Uncompromising craft beers, boutique gin, and some of Margaret Riverâs best wine varieties. Thatâs what our team delivers in the creative playgrou
Cold, poor service. Wine and beer ok. Cold day, fires barely going with no other heaters in a huge space. Table not cleared when we were the only ones in the room. Staff member eating and drinking behind bar and couldnât give a hoot. Definitely not recommended and will not return. Hi Leonie,I am very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your experience here due to our service, it is very rare that I hear this as our staff pride themselves on being friendly and helpful. I have spoken to the staff member in question and she let me know that although she was on her break at the time, she did go behind the bar so I apologise for the miscommunication there. Thank you for bringing it to our attention so we can ensure that this does not happen again. I totally agree that the fires should be kept roaring on these cold afternoons, on this particular day a previous table had requested that we let the fire die down a little as it was getting too warm. We do our best to ensure that all of our customers are comfortable and happy but it can be a balancing act when it comes to the fires! I do hope that you will give us another chance next time you are in the area and we can make your experience a positive one.Kind Regards, Emma

Established for 25 years, Goodfellas has moved up the main street of Margaret River to the Tuck Shop (top of town, next to ANZ bank). Still serving our woodfired pizzas plus new dishes from the kitchen! Why did we move? When you see our secret garden at t
Have been here twice now the last few weeks, have ordered various pizzas and although we finished them - they didn't blow us away. First up I used to love going to the original shop and even had my 18th birthday there sat outside on the veranda....a long time ago lol. The meals were always great and tasty. Me and my friends like a thin crust pizza base and crust, we found with all the pizzas here they are thin but rather doughy , the crust is extremely doughy and almost looked like it wasn't cooked through, even though there was crispy parts on the top. Maybe it's the oven or maybe it's just the style but for me I don't think I will be back.âââ

The Margaret River Distilling Co is home of GINIVERISTY and sister distillery to Limeburners Albany (Est. 2005). T he distillery is located a short walk from Margaret River's town centre, set aside nature enjoy a uniquely guided tasting of distinctive awa
We visited here last Saturday during my birthday weekend celebration in the area. It had been recommended to us so we decided to go and do some tasting and have a casual lunch. We found the attitude of the staff to be rather abrasive when we were asking questions during the tasting. We ended up tasting just one gin as we didnât feel particularly welcome or that our interest was well received. The food was pretty average pub style. One of the pizzas was undercooked. There was one friendly waitress. We felt the place was missing an essential element âfunâ. The Gins are fabulous, just not sure this place does them justice. Hi Dque, We're extremely disappointed that your experience was not what you were hoping for and are truly sorry for not delivering the upbeat and high quality service that we strive to achieve and generally deliver. We will take your feedback on board for our staff training and ensure it is addressed. Thanks for your time. Kind regards,Margaret River Distilling Co

Swings Taphouse is a home away from home. Casual yet welcoming and incredibly professional. We have created a comfortable, casual and quirky space, filled with music with a beat, open fires, big open doors, balcony's, quiet corners and big open tables. A
Itâs always difficult to be objective when one has an unpleasant dining experience, particularly when staff are in denial. In this case a chewed olive stone in a dish which didnât have olives. That aside the food was tasty and the range of drinks good. We ate in front of a log fire which gave the room a pleasant ambience. Service was good up to the point of denying what they could see in front of them.

Locally reared, hand made burgers with craft beers and local wines. Find a comfortable spot and relax. We also do takeaway if youâre hot to trot!!!.
The food and atmosphere were really nice here! I had a spicy lentil burger and my husband the lamb burger. It was cold outside but luckily they have a fireplace with couches. The food was prepared quickly. Will be back again!

Been seated almost an hour.... some flat mineral water just came....no food yet.... short staffed, but friendly and professional ....theyâve run out of entree... very unimpressed with the slow service and non existent food. They are charging 15% extra for long weekend privilege of sitting here and waiting. Tempted to get up and leave....

Dined here after finishing the Cape to Cape mountain bike event so want some good solid food... I was not disappointed. It is not a fancy restaurant, but a very welcoming local country, sports, social club/pub. We all had the Roast of the day (Pork @ $20) to possibly be the best I have had in a simple country town set-up. Other food also looked very good.Very friendly staff with great seating options and plenty of choice for food and drink.Caters for families, groups or even just couples.
