The population in 2011 was 13,418, in an area of 10.18 km². Since December 2004, the Costa de Caparica has been designated as city within the urban hierarchy of Portugal.

This place seems to have two names/to be two restaurants located in the same building: sushi 'n paradise & Paraiso bar. There are 2 menus as well: one with only sushi and the second with more European kitchen. Perfect if you are several persons and if not everyone wants to eat sushi or vice versa.I chose from the "hot sushi" part which are basically fried inside out sushi and they were so tasty that I ordered more afterwords. I took the Hot paradise and hot spicy tuna (see pic). Probably one of the best I had in Europe! Would go back to Costa da caparica only for that! ;-)Prices were very fair as well and only paid 2.5⬠for a big glass of wine!Staff was friendly and helpful so all in all we can recommend this place!

There is no place than o golfinho to eat grilled fish. The owners takes his fish serious! He chooses local fish that he grills himself for his guests. His wife and daughter serve at the table. Love the place, give them a try !thanks very much :))

One shot. Dinner experience for group. Single main, beef, rice, fries and salad. Meat was good. Sides could be better. Sangria is not main stream, it was ok. Service average. There's a karaoke bar side by side. Day time on summer probably better. Parking dusty but easy. 15-20/pax

We went there on a Friday night. The location is simple yet gorgeous, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset sipping mojitos and Ricard, with very tasty finger foods. Our kids kicked out the burgers. Definitely a place we would like to come back for a family or friends gathering.

Went on 2 occasions in the past month. The first time I had a regular burger which was delicious. The second time I had a veggie burger which was simply not good. If you stick to meat, you will enjoy it the experience. Unfortunately, I will give it 3/5 because of the veggie burgerThanks for the review Claudio. I love coming to Kailua, the food is great and usually the service is good but today the service was really bad. I asked to 3 people for a drink and the first two kept saying this is not my area you have to wait for my colleague. After make the order to the 3rd server I saw him giving the order to the second server who was taking the order to the people who were sitting just besides me. Really disappointed with todayâs service.

If there are some things that annoy me in a restaurant, those are wrong information and unprofessional service. In this particular case, both happened simultaneously. The opening hours, supposedly, are 12:30 till 23:00. However, upon arrival at 19:10 the door was closed (although the sign on the door said âopenâ). When asking one of the staff, the answer, without even opening the door, was: we will open in a while. Well, as âwhileâ can range from 5 minutes until whatever number of minutes, we of course left. Not exactly the best of publicity for a place that opened recently and only has a few reviews.
