Reviews on Bar food in Cordoba, Province of Cordoba, Spain. Córdoba was once the premier city of the Western World, the greatest metropolis west of Constantinople, and the seat of Europe’s first university. Today, there’s a modern commercial center, but most travelers love strolling the town’s ancient cobblestone streets, peeking through gates for glimpses of lush flowers and beautiful tiled fountains.

Ate here on a busy Feria Saturday when the town was buzzing with visitors. We had passed here a few times but had not tried it because it always seemed fairly empty. As with everywhere else it was packed but service was excellent, food was well above the normal tourist fare and prices were reasonable.

Taberna Epora is a cozy place with authentic home cooking. Typical andalusian tapas.
Good price and selection of local Córdoba food. The service was great and our server spent extra time to help translate the menu for us. We really enjoyed our meal, as did our kids who are picky eaters. They liked the croquetas the best and we liked the salad with apples and pine nuts. We also liked eating outside and being surrounded by locals, not tourists!Thank you so much! We are grateful for your opinion. Hope to see you soon.

Get there early or the place will be packed with locals! Also, be aware that English is not spoken. They do have an English menu, so pointing at the things you want to try is the way to go. Get half portions if you want to try several dishes. I would recommend the wild boar, oxtail (stewed and croquettes) and lechon. The food is actually similar in style to central European. The wild boar is like goulash. You can skip the fried shrimp, nothing special. Sangria was excellent and cheap. Service is quick and efficient.

It seems relatively new, but we ate there on 5-28-2010, we ate lunch there at about 2:30pm or 3:330 pm. It seems to be housed at the former location of a restaurant named 'Desayunas y Menus'
We ate here a few times and were never disappointed. Ate Tapas and the Menu del dia and each time we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Very popular with the locals which is always a good sign. No bookings taken so you are better getting there before 8 of an evening otherwise you could be disappointed. Pigs cheek and Bulls tail were great.

Local Tapas bar where we serve traditional spanish food. Our main specialities are plates from Cordoba. All the food is homemade. The place is very well decorated with a mix of traditional and modern elements.
Iâve been here a few times over the years and always enjoyed it. But last night I went and had a salad. The avocado was slightly grey and when I turned it over it was really very grey/black all over. I returned it and they replaced it. But I was really angry that the chef thought he would palm this onto a single woman. And thought heâd get away with it. Most disappointing. The gazpacho was fine. But I wonât be going back.Dear Client,It is quite sad for us to read your review. First of all I would like to remark you that we don´t give different tratment to any of our clients because he or she is a single, we could make a mistate (as this was the case), but it was never with bad intention. In any case we would love you would come back to our restaurant in future because everyone can have a bad day. We will try to give you the best service posssible, as it is usual. Thanks for your visit.

Cervezas Califa is the one and only Microbrewery in the area that pairs food with each of the five kinds of beer they brew.
What a joy finding beautifully made craft beers in the land of San Miguel and Cruzcampo. Nothing wrong with the aforementioned, but it's so refreshing to have a quality alternative. I loved the sultana stout - rich and flavoursome - and we plan to return in a few weeks for more of the same + tapas. A friendly place with interesting customers.

Just stumbled upon this restaurant when walking around the neighborhood and what a find! This place serves the most amazing food, with all kinds of Iberico ham, cheese, and specialties like berenjenas (Fried aubergine), Salmorejo (cold tomato cream) and all types of meats and fish.We liked that you could choose the sizing, like tapas, half portion and full portion sizes. We shared everything among the two of us, which gave us a great opportunity to taste a half a dozen things. You are obligated to yourself to eat in this restaurant when in Córdoba and we would definitely came back when we are here!

Con Acento is a way to feel good eating, based on respect for our visitors. Cuisine, using fresh quality products selected by our team every day, so the flavors of each recipe are the fie reflection of the ingredients it contains. The essence of a kitchen
Tried this as it was a 10 min walk from hotel. Both had steaks, nice flavour but chewier than others we have had here in Spain. Service OK but if you don't speak Spanish well it's a trial. Medium priced meal came in at 51 euros. Staff tried their best. Thanks for your assessment! We regret that the steak was not to your liking, if you were told this to the staff, we could have changed your steaks. Anyway we are so glad for your visit and hope you will back soon for change your opinion about us and talk you in english! Regards!
