I recently dinned at the Satuit for lunch. I inquired is the smelts were still on the menue and they said YES! So I ordered them. Out came those beautiful golden fried fish ona bed of fries and crowned with onion rings. Unquestionably, Satuit serves the BEST smelts on the South Shore. The fish platter with a bowl of fish chowder didn't look to bad either. They know how to serve seafood the right way. I slept so soundly that night with visions of flying fish in my dreams. I'll be back again!

Check out Monday nights, super musicians from 5:30 on playing a number of traditional Irish airs and tunes. We enjoyed the music while sipping a very good Fiddlehead IPA on draft and quite decent martinis. Our table split two orders of haddock bites which were light and crispy, the fish lovely and mild. Pronounced more than quite acceptable by our Scottish fisherman. We ladies split a delightful Reuben, the men folk ordered steak tips and surf n turf, our sisters ordered salads and a veggie quesadilla and split those. The salad girls kept on filching our crunchy, delightful French fries.I like the Snug, it is a small, homely place with the warm welcome of a good Irish or Scottish pub, forward thinking with its beer selection and great food. The bathroom is clean and there is entertainment several nights a week.Highly recommended if you are on the South Shore.

I've been coming to Daddy's Beach Club for eight years now and always enjoy it. The atmosphere is fun, the energy is upbeat and their pizzas are delicious AND a bargain!! Jeff is the owner and does all he can to make sure the experience of Daddy's customers is a positive one. As Arnold says, "I'll be back"

Weekend breakfasts are for friends and feasts. This is the place to enjoy both. Long waits for large tables but once your group sits down the staff is all-hands-on-deck. Service is terrific but its those BIG Breakfast PLATES that everyone comes for. TIP: Order Unique. Everyone's had eggs, bacon and pancakes. Try something absolutely new: Breakfast Chorizo Tacos, Homemade Hash or Chicken Waffles.

Came for breakfast before walking the beach on a nice September day. We stayed at the adjacent Nantasket Beach Resort so this place was a no-brainer, and ordered the eggs, pancakes, and home fries across the board. Very good, and a perfect breakfast. About $10-11/plate.

The Barker Tavern is a fully restored 17th century building, home to a quiet casual fine dining restaurant and lively Eli's Pub, both serving new american cuisine. The historic restaurant and modern ball room sit on top of a hill overlooking Scituate harb
This is the 5 star restaurant on the South Shore. A great place for a romantic dinner, birthday party, anniversary celebration, or a wedding. The early American and authentic decor add to the experience. The menu is varied and their beef, poultry, and seafood dinners are succulent. The desserts are also delicious. A must for a special dinner.

Spent a day at the beach, and was looking for a place to eat lunch. From the outside I wasn't sure what to expect, but when we came in we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was phenomal, the clam chowder was out of this world. Lots of seafood to choose from, and everyone in our party of 7 was happy with their order.Next time i am at the beach, i will def stop in here again!

After being closed all of last summer, and under "needed repairs" for most of this year - The Olde Salt House adjacent to Atlantica has finally reopened. We were so excited to visit one of our favorite al fresco spots - but so disappointed once we got there. Unattractive benches are the first thing you trip over as you enter the space. Menu is NOTHING like it used to be under the former owners. We ordered Rose wine (it was okay - nothing I'd request the label of) and a shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were also "just okay" - but arranged on a glass plate that at one time had ice but quickly turned to water. We had to dry off each shrimp before eating. Not a pleasant experience. Doubt we'll ever go back - so sad.

A neighborhood modern American eatery and bar, located where Hingham, Hull and Cohasset meet. Serving farm fresh, innovative takes on all your favorites- from flatbreads and salads, to street tacos and burgers, to steak and local fish. Come in for dollar
Been here 3 times, atmosphere is nice but a limited exlectic type menu and pricey for small portions. You need to check the menu before you arrive and ensure one of the limited entree,s will satify your palette. Also be prepared to figure out how to get the salt out of a âdishâ onto you food???? No spoon so i stuck my fingers in for a pinch! Jez, just put it in a shaker will you?
