My husband and I sat outside overlooking the creek, perfect fall weather. We had Oysters on the 1/2 Shell Baked- a kind of glorified Oyster's Rockefeller with Béchamel Sauce, Shepherd's Pie- which was perfectly prepared- creamy mashed potatoes, flavorful lamb and veggies. We drank an Octoberfest Beer, called Marzen and had the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. All delicious! Servers were welcoming and relaxed. We took a wrong turn and walked along the creek after lunch... a perfect outing for the weekend. Thank you...

The historic Stottsville Inn nestled in the heart of Chester Cty. has undergone an incredible transformation at the hand of the Quinn Family! Relax and enjoy reasonably price fare and a casual atmosphere in a charming neighborhood pub & dining room.
Went there for Valentine's dinner. Anything but good. Ordered 1 drink each and hangar steaks. Took 2 bites, totally inedible. So tough, impossible to chew. I complained to the waitress who offered to make another. Service was slow as waitresses were more interested in the larger parties than us. Never came back to ask if we wanted another drink or more water. No bread served, no salad, that was extra. Paid 75 dollars for inedible food which I left on my plate. Manager was floating around but never once approached us..just the larger parties. The waitress should have asked him to speak to us since I complained. We ended up going home and getting pizza as we left hungry and disappointed. I am local...will never recommend this place for dinner.
