I've tried eating there three times. Each time I got lousy food. First time, I ordered ribs. Came to me burned and dry as cardboard. Second time I ordered a burger. It tasted like a sponge with bacon grease added. Third time, I figured I'd order a baked potato. You can't screw up a baked potato, right? Wrong! You can if you serve it raw!

There have been a lot of changes at Clio Roadhouse in the last few months. New seating, new entertainment and events, living up to our "Family by Day, Fun by Night" philosophy. After the phenomenal success we had in MLive's Best Burger in Genesee County,
Our family met here for the first time, but hopefully not the last! Some coming from southern Michigan and some from mid-Michigan, it was a perfect location for all. We trusted the TripAdvisor reviews for choosing this locale and were not disappointed. The menu has lots of choices and the prices are reasonable. The portions are large. You can make reservations which is a good thing if you're meeting at 6:00 on a Saturday evening! Service was excellent. Everything we ordered was delicious! We definitely recommend this restaurant.

We stopped here on the way home from the Blueberry Festival in Montrose. Because of the good reviews we expected a little better food. The waitress was friendly, but our order took a long time to arrive and my husband's onion rings were lukewarm and soggy, his chicken tenders were hot so maybe the onion rings sat while the tenders cooked? My chicken caesar wrap had more croutons than chicken and was soaked in the caesar dressing which was more like an italian dressing. The highlight of the meal was the homemade potato chips and dipping sauce. We had so many chips that we brought some home to have the next day. So if you are in the mood for bar food that is serving quantity versus quality, this is the place for you.
a Cozy Heart of the Downtown Cafe with walk ability to all the great shops in downtown come spent a couple of hours in Clio you will love it!!
Eating delicious food: eggs, french toast, hash browns, sausage, coffee, chatting with the current owner, listening to "Little Darling", and "Blueberry Hill." This sweet place is for sale, with several people looking at it. Hope it sells and lives on.
