Yes, it is a little touristy. Yes, it is a tad pricey. However, you will never be able to choose your waterside dining (beach, water, view, floating dock, etc.) This is a must do for families with children, families, and cocktail hour. The staff is busy, but friendly. The food is good. The music is good. You should not miss the Ropewalk. Bonus if Brian is your bartender!

This place was a hit with our kids. The seating is picnic benches and tables in an area covered with beach sand. They had live music, cornhole, jenga, connect 4, etc. There was a place to order food off a limited menu (about 4 items) and a separate outdoor bar. We enjoyed the concept, but the food could have been better.

On the recommendation of the folks from the Hampton Inn, we ate upstairs at Chatties because we wanted to a) eat at a bar, b) have good fresh fish, and c) eat where locals eat. 3 for 3. We had a very good time - struck up a conversation with another couple we met there while drinking, ate a great fried fish platter (with the obligatory crab cake) had a couple of drinks and got out for around $100. Went in shorts and t-shirt. Just what we wanted. Would definitely go back.
