My husband and I were hungry after some shopping. We chose Applebeeâs. We sat at the bar. The bartender was ok. She took our order along with talking to someone else. Itâs a wonder our order was correct. The manager was behind once and made some rude comments about he bartender to another worker which in my opinion was uncalled for. Do it in private. We got our food which was great. When time to get our ticket we had to wait and wait. The bartender looked at us numerous times but didnât acknowledge us even though we were just sitting there. Other customers at the bar were waiting for her to acknowledge them as well. All I have to say is thank goodness he food was good. It will be a while before we return.

First trip here, I ordered the Potato âtaterâ skins as my main for lunch, I didnât want a full lunch and the array of ingredients caught my attention including the âpecansâ. The three skins were served in a French Fry basket lined with paper making cutting them next to impossible. One bite; I never really tasted the pecans or found them and the tater skins were bland, very bland. I took two of them home, they were much better cold, but only found a couple small pieces of pecans on each. The salsa; also bland, no heat or kick, just very sweet. My coffee was served with a flavored cream and talking with the waitress it was because so many people complained that the coffee was bitter, she took the coffee off the bill. Flavored cream does not help bad coffee, ever! The food was just heat and serve, nothing fresh. The music was loud syncopated disco on a repeat loop. The decor is modern gray with clean lines. Giant TV screens every where playing sports. This is not a relaxing restaurant. Plus side: the waitress was excellent in her attention and service. This is the only reason why two stars. Do yourself a favor go a couple doors down to the Rail Yard restaurant, much much better in every detail.

I believe that the place goes a bit extra for Cheyenne Frontier Days. They have to compete with everyone else for the crowds SO the effort shows. The Margaritas are STILL big, strong, delicious and ONLY $4.50 TOO. The free food ran the gamut of make your own tacos to beef and bean burritos. Plenty of fresh roasted peanuts, bar mix and freshly popped corn was in abundance as usual. This is my Friday hangout for Happy Hour for sure.

Waitress was slow, not attentive. Place was noisey. Lacked the charm that I have experienced in Cheyenne, Wy on other trips. Won't stop there again.

The day we visited they had about a dozen beers on tap. We enjoyed our âtastingâ experience, sampling about 1/2. Very fun concept and great place to hang out. Nice large patio as well. We also ordered food. I have to admit the food was just ok. Chicken tenders were rather tough even though they had a nice flavor. I had to try what they called their infamous kale salad. It did not disappoint. This would be a great happy hour spot but not sure it fits the bill for lunch or dinner. We would go back.

This place was a bit out of our way but well worth the drive. Ordered the Cheeseburger Soup, which was great, and the Prime Rib Dip, which was scrumptious. Generous portion of meat on sandwich. Kathy, our server, was excellent. Wish we had been there for dinner. Bet the entrees are off the charts.

A lot of locals enjoy lunch at the Albany. That includes us. The meals are appropriately sized, reasonable priced and delicious. It is great to be able to enjoy good food in a Cheyenne landmark.

We needed somewhere quick for lunch and was lucky enough to find this restaurant. The exterior doesn't give away how interesting it is inside, every where you look there's something to look at The good was great and plentiful and the service was great.Would have gone back in the evening but we were moving on. Give it a try if you're in Cheyenne.

Because of the great reviews, I made sure we included this in our itinerary while on our trip West. I wanted an authentic old-western-style experience in both atmostphere and food. The good reviews were a lot of bunk! The outdoors was messy, not kept-up looking, not inviting--and the Elvis statue (what??) was wierd. The inside was large, chock full of dusty memorabilia and quite dark. There were only two other customers there at 12:45pm...it was empty. Saw only two employees...our waitress was OK but the bartender was curt. The waitress suggested that everything on the menu was GREAT...but my hamburger was dry and tasteless, and my sister's chicken salad was large but uninteresting. Let down! My sister and I agreed driving the extra 30 minutes from the main drag, 25, was not at all worth it. Try anything else. (One good thing was provided by Mother Nature: the clouds outside were beautiul.)

My wife and I loved this restaurant. The service was great, and the food was delicious and prepared perfectly. The cedar plank salmon was the best I've had, and I have eaten it at numerous restaurants. I was a little wary ordering the carrot souffle, having never had it before, but it was excellent. Since we don't have a Rib & Chop House anywhere near Ohio, I will have to look up recipes to try and duplicate those wonderful carrots! My wife tried the crab-crusted chicken and raved about it the rest of the afternoon. We were both on a cross-country drive for our 50th anniversary and had eaten in probably sixty different restaurants. The meal we had at Cheyenne's Rib & Chop House was the best we had.
