The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing has brought award-winning dining to the banks of the James River. The restaurant occupies the top floor of the recently restored Power Plant building, which once provided electricity for Richmondâs fleet of trolley cars.
We visited here based on a desire for seafood and Trip Advisor posiitive reviews. We were not disappointed. We had a wonderful table by the window overlooking the river and could enjoy the sunset. Our fish entrees were delicious and the service was attentive. We were even able to find a Malbec wine on the list that was from the area in Mendoza we had stayed at when visiting Argentina. Overall, it was a lovely relaxed evening that we thoroughly enjoyed. We're happy to satisfy your seafood craving! So glad that you enjoyed everything. It sounds like you came at the perfect time. The view of the sunset over the river is hard to beat. We really hope to see you again in the future. All the bestAnne, Director of Sales, Marketing, & Public Relations

I went here while working just to see what it was all about. Unfortunately, NOBODY was here but the bartender and cook. The burger was okay, but nothing impressive. They did have a good beer selection however, because I was at work, I was unable to consume! The food was okay, but maybe not worth the trip back. The bartender was very sociable and made the experience better than it should have been. Skip burgers at Brew....eat at McDonalds across the street then come have a beer!

Although we were missing an item we ordered when we picked up our order, the food was very good considering it was takeout. We would use the takeout menus again, but order by phone as their internet ordering process was problematic. We would also review the items we picked up at the restaurant more carefully. We got 6 of our 7 orders.

Twelve people, age span of eight decades and an even greater span of meal preferences, ate most satisfactorily for lunch. Fresh, creative and generous would beat describe what Tazzo offers. The restaurant could have employed twice as many servers. The kitchen might have been backed up as well. But overall, a comfortable experience.

Food is very good, along with service and atmosphere. Hamburger and turkey burger specials between 3-6 PM weekdays are a bargain with rail drinks, drafts, and other beer reduced during this period as well. Regular menu and new pizza menu are tasty as well and medium priced.

I drove to the sports bar to buy a gift card for a volunteer at our charity. The two women working the front desk directed me by pointing toward the bar to purchase the gift card and then returned to their conversation. There was no one manning the bar. I was left standing there for over 10 mins. Neither woman at the front desk would help me get someone assist with the gift card purchase. This is no way to build a business, ignoring your customers. I drove to a competitor of theirs and was sold a $100.00 gift card in two minutes. They were happy to have my business.

Our menu is filled with classic American dishes like steak, salmon, burgers, sandwiches and salads, as well as other traditional favorites like slow-roasted prime rib and our famous chicken tenders, all at a great value.
We were traveling and decided to stay overnight in Chester, Virginia. We asked the desk clerks at the hotel for a restaurant recommendation and they were enthusiastic about O'Charley's.We ordered the Peach Chutney Chicken and the Seafood Combo Platter. The chicken entree had peach chutney, broccoli, and mashed sweet potato. The chicken breast was a fairly good size. The peach chutney was good and the sweet potato and broccoli were fresh. The seafood combo was very large. It had fried shrimp, imperial stuffed crabs, and cod. The platter is served with coleslaw and french fries.Rose was our server and she was very personable and knew the menu well. The seafood combo platter was reasonably priced and the chicken was very reasonable. The total bill with tax, tip, and beverage was less than $40.O'Charley's is a chain restaurant that has a diverse menu. The food is similar to other chain restaurants with respect to quality and price. This O'Charley's is located near the other restaurants and stores at the intersection of Jefferson Davis Highway, US Routes 1 and 301, and W Hundred Road, Virginia Route 10. The restaurant is north of Route 10 on the west side of Route 301 near several other restaurants.

The view and setting of Sunday Park, graced by a 1,700 acre lake, are the breath of fresh air that will make your festivities truly memorable. Join us at The Boathouse and enjoy great food, great service, beautiful surroundings and our Wine Spectator awar
We had relatives visiting from out of town and enjoyed good food in a beautiful setting. We had a reservation and were called in advance to find out about special occasions, food allergies and mobility issues, which I thought was very helpful. (We were not seated upstairs because one person in the party would have found it difficult to navigate the stairs.)The food was as good as we remembered. The fresh tuna chef's special was delicious - three of us enjoyed that. It came with rice and grilled vegetables. Also the fried seafood platter was a hit, especially the hush puppies. However, we had to ask for the butter on the side, but the waitress returned quickly with that. Without the butter they were a bit dry.We always want to make sure our guests are comfortable and well accommodated on their visit with us. It's really wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the tuna. We're sorry that the hush puppies were dry -- we hope that you brought that to the attention of your server. If you're ever unhappy or concerned with an order, please don't hesitate to let someone know. We'd really love to welcome you all back again soon. I frequently choose Howlett's for business lunches. Therestaurant is nicely appointed and the atmosphere is pleasant and quiet so that it is an ideal place for quiet discussions. The food is very well prepared and served at appropriate temperatures. Service is always very good and prices are reasonable priced. The menu has good variety. They frequent offer buy one, get one half price specials. There is rarely a wait for seating.

Love to come here in the spring and summer when they have live music on the patio, Thursdays are our favorite when Rich Moore performs. Met here with a large group, super friendly, helpful staff. The wedge salad is the best, but the seafood is some of the best in the area. The cheesecake was delicious, as was the peanut butter pie.
