Found this restaurant right by the La Chateau bus stop on the corner of the road to Malmaison as lunchtime arrived and what an excellent find it was. The waitresses were very friendly, provided an English menu. The choice was good of both food and drinks. I was blown away by the excellent Sea Bass. The Salmon gourmet plate was also popular. Great place to eat.

'The Corner' is an inviting bar and brasserie for locals or travelers in the Ile-de-France region. You can experience a beautiful restaurant with great French food as well as an "English" touch. The owner does in fact speak English. I would encourage anyone looking for a date spot, a place to drink with friends, or wanting to enjoy a lunch out in Chatou to visit 'The Corner'!Thank you very much Laura, all of this is very encouraging for us. We will keep doing our best to satisfy as much as we can. Hope to see you at The Corner again some time soon !

L'accueil et le service sont très agréable, les planches à partager autour d'un verre sont très bien. Ãa donne envie d'y retourner pour tester les plats et profiter du jardin, mais je pense qu'il vaut mieux réserver

Easy to find from the railway station, on the border (not really AT the border itself) of the Seine, surrounded by a couple of other restaurants (and the neighbour restaurant looks to use the same kitchen) and some large business buildings, this restaurant is offering a 'standard' menu choice, but for this "standard" quite tasty and nicely decorated plates. Large terrasse but if windy, difficult to enjoy outside.A pity was the major delay in any menu switch, even i realize the tables were crowdy this evening (but i assume every summer day?).Tip: do something with heating or pillows in order that people can sit in better conditions outside.Watch out: our kids played in the garden of this corner with a fountain, and apparently presence of ammoniak ! (so bye bye clothes)
