Imagine a large round of Vacherin Mont d'Or (raw milk cheese) sitting in a wooden case and heated in the oven to melting, served with mountain grown potatoes, a variety of cold cut prosciutto, salami, capocollo and pickled onions and gherkins. Now imagine a thick hamburger size bun with the top cut off and the bottom side hollowed out to hold an entire rondelle of squishy melted brie, and served with a side bowl of boiled mountain potatoes wrapped in bacon; pickled onions and gherkins on the side. Wash this down with a glass or two of local select wines and enjoy the ambience. By the way the mountain potatoes are grown locally within 1000 to 1800 metre altitude. The village of Ossein just above Aymavilles is renowned for its dark skinned and sweet tasting potatoes. Recommended by locals and after a couple visits I'd bet this is the local hotspot in Aymavilles. The place was hopping each evening we went. There are cute outdoor open ended cabins for groups of 8 or so as well as tables and chairs. Indoors the ground floor is a bustle of the bar, kitchen and half dozen tables with more tables below. Staff are friendly and you can make reservations. The menu is on the wall offering about a dozen or so 'aperitivo' food options. You can't miss the place. Just drive into Aymavilles and just before the first traffic circle across from the 'Municipio' (town hall) look for a place to park. It's obvious.

This is one few bars that's always crowded also during the week. Nice ambience with an outdoor space that can be enjoyed during the warm months. Good selection of beers.

So we called here as bar 63 hadn't opened. Bar area very pleasant in fact the whole place is very smart. We only called for a beer but staid for a spot of Italian Tapas which was excellent. The place clearly prides itself on its drinks, the bar is prominent and the staff very focused.Amusingly there are two 'wine experts' poncing about with a glass of wine each, not engaging with any of the customers but clearly enjoying getting lathered on the house!!What was even more amusing was one of them picked up the half pint of Heinekin on the bar looked at it and sniffed it before letting the waiter serve it to us.I repeated the same and you know what! It was a half pint of Heineken!!!If you're in town go just for those two. That do have an excellent range of bottled beers and weekly specials on them!Great little bar!!

Probably Aostas liveliest bar, quirky plenty of room, toilets a disgrace! Must have a Grolla if you go!! Yep good place. We went two nights, New Year's Eve was crazy but you could still get in and get a drink. If you're there skiing then this is where you find the skiing crowd!!

Though located not in the touristic centre of Aosta, it is well worth to put this place on your planning. We were a large group visiting Aosta, and had a great time at this café. It has a great atmosphere, very friendly, quick and enthousiastic service, a nice menu and correct prices.

The Yeti bar and restaurant has always been good value but sometimes overwhelmed numbers wise. The refurbishment has created much more space and is a big improvement. The food is still good and good value. The service was much improved. We really enjoyed our visit and are looking forward to the next.Well done!.Thank you Trevor! Hope to see you soon again, Katia

I have eaten there many times many different burgers but I never digested one. Maybe due to the chewy bread, tasteless but very sugary sauces and perhaps not an excellent quality meat. The maximum happened today when I asked for a cheeseburger with onions and barbecue sauce and onions were unripe and unkooked, just sliced! In a hamburger! Unbelievable! For the rest are very kind, the place is in the old downtown and quite pleasant, but within a quarter mile there are at least two best burger bars.

The burgers are good, but donât go any bigger than a double - you will waste most of it! Prices are very reasonable but the service is a little slow and not very friendly. Well worth a visit if youâre in the area. Thank you so much for your review, we promise to improve about the service! See you soon!
