Soirée entre amis, au patio, ambiance détente lounge. Aperitif magique avec que des produits frais, maison, de qualité..Une ardoise apétissante, cohérente.Nous nous sommes regalés jusqu'au café. We went to the Barrel House specifically to try the fish and chips, and they didn't disappoint! Everything was delicious and freshly prepared by the chef, Florian. The burgers also looked amazing. There was a blues/rock gig in the pub that evening and it was jam packed. There was a great ambiance, the staff were friendly and enjoyed talking to the customers.Will definitely return next time I am in Mâcon!

Stopped here for drinks and possibly a snack but the waiter was so rude we just had the drink. Like many places in France we were inundated with smoke from cigarettes. Waiter clearly doesnât like his job, although another waiter came out later and he was very pleasantl but wasnât serving us unfortunately.

The servers were laughing at the guests in their back! we had the feeling of a big malicious against us and the other guests. we was treated and looked at us like we was stupid. the food was cold and in a bad quality.My recommand: take a small restaurant on the other side of the river!

Perfect for a quick lunch this buzzing roadside café has a very traditional French style about it with friendly, efficient staff and a simple menu with a good range of excellent food. Great for a break between local wine tasting in the area.
