Reviews on Bar food in Cayman Brac, Caribbean. Home to fruit bats, herons, wild green parrots and an abundance of tropical foliage, the 12-mile-long island of Cayman Brac boasts more than 170 caves and 1400 inhabitants. Named for the imposing limestone bluff, or Brac in Scottish Gaelic, that looms 140 feet above the sea, the middle Cayman offers spectacular diving at Wilderness Wall and Peter's Cave. Emerald green parrots flock at National Trust Parrot Reserve. To discover some of the island's secrets, take a taxi, hop on a bike or trot on foot.

Informal Indoor Restaurant with 32 seats plus 4 buts. A/C, Pool Side Bar with Two TVs and a Patio with 16 seats. Serves Lunch and Dinner
We visited Captain's Table twice. The first time, we went for Tuesday Tacos. We thought that since the tacos were only $2 that they would be small, but they are full-size tacos and delicious! We tried pretty much all the types they offered between the three of us at the table, and every single one was excellent! You can't beat getting a great dinner for such a low price. Service was friendly and efficient that night. The second time we went, we didn't enjoy it quite as much. My fish was a bit overcooked, and we waited for 30 minutes to get our check after our plates had been removed, even though there was only one other table of customers. We sat outside so we were getting munched on by mosquitoes as we waited to pay.So... it seems you might be thrilled or unimpressed, depending on what night you go. I'd still go back for Tuesday Tacos if I had the chance.

Good food and great atmosphere. The staff and patrons are all very friendly. Customers were mainly expats and repeat tourists to the Brac who were more than willing to share stories of their experiences on the island. Food was delicious and came fresh from the kitchen. Prices very reasonable considering the cost of everything on the island. Highly recommend visiting at least once if you are on the island.Thank you for your review and very glad your enjoyed your visit, hope to see you visit again soon

This is our second trip to Cayman Brac. Weâve been here three days and have already eaten here twice for lunch and once for dinner. Everything on the menu is really good. The servers are excellent, and they make a wicked margarita at the bar. If you stop by for lunch, just order the special of the day. They have delicious appetizers, and a âbasketâ of chicken tenders is enough for two people to share. We plan to try the Friday night barbecue this week. It gets rave reviews. Thursday come early to look over the local arts and crafts on display, or enter the sand crab race (free bottle of wine to the winner). Very good food and beautiful sunsets!
