We recently visited this restaurant whilst staying overnight at a B&B in Zagerscappel (see separate review). We were apprehensive on entering, due to our limited French vocabulary, being English. We neednât have worried, as all the staff, including the proprietor/Chef made us feel so welcome, and despite a few language difficulties (and the offer of a translated menu), we were able to choose some delicious meals! The restaurant is located on a terrace above the Grand Place, and on a nice day, would be an ideal position to watch the world go by. Sadly it was raining during our visit, but you could still enjoy the beauty of this little French town. Merci Beaucoup!

My friend and I stopped here for lunch when passing through. We sat in the sun and enjoyed a cold beer and a Welsch Complete which was a cheese and ham dish. Very tasty. We called back a couple of nights later but they weren't doing meals, just snacks. He did recommend the next restaurant along, where we sat for nearly 20 mins before the chef decided to stop chatting to his friends and acknowledge us.A lady eventually gave us a menu but did not ask for a drink order and when the chef came 2 seconds later and swore because we hadn't had time to read the menu, let alone decide,we left.

Dropped in for lunch and enjoyed well presented lunch sized dishes of traditional regional food with a classy touch. Seemed to be well enjoyed by the locals. English was not a problem although menu (as with most in this region) is all in French.
