Kelly's Corner is a great restaurant serving American Cuisine. They serve large portions, are very friendly and the prices are very fair. The service is impecalbe
I love Kelly's. Its clean and friendly and the food is always really good. Reasonable price too, I love the veggie Wrap! :)
Prime 957 Steakhouse is a restaurant providing an all American kitchen & bar. We have sourced our establishment from items that are made, raised, grown, & caught in the United States
Prime 957 Steakhouse , located in the space formerly occupied by the Chophouse , is a fresh new restaurant in Mahopac. The first thing you notice upon entering is the transformation of the dining room from itâs formerly dark and dingy feeling to a bright, airy , and modern space . The mood that the new decor inspired , was just the beginning of a great dining experience. The service was very attentive without being overbearing . We had the house salad , and Cowboy steak (ribeye ) , accompanied by hot, crispy French fries, and al dente broccoli .Delicious. The wine list was adequate, and we had a moderately priced Cab Sav that was excellent. A full bar is also available. The coffee at the end of our meal was fresh , hot , and not an afterthought , which is also the hallmark of a great dining experience. My only recommendation to enhance the dining experience , would be to have a more hearty bread accompanying the meal, rather than a generic soft roll . I definitely recommend 957 for a great dining experience .The transformation of this dining spot is truly exceptional !

We first visited the Bull and Barrel several years ago on opening night. Our first impression was interesting concept, OK food, noisy but expensive for what is on the menu. Little has changed. Great restaurant for kids. The mechanical bull is different. The menu is a little eclectic. Not sure what the are going for here, feels like bbq but there is little bbq on the menu. For example bacon stuffed wontons, but no ribs?Good choice if you're looking for something different!

the addition of the fire in the fireplace made this a cozy place...... we asked not to be rushed so we could talk and the waitress was accommodating......spicy shrimp were delicious as well as the chicken francese on angel hair pasta....very tender chicken....a root beer floor had a little kick to it and was equally good as well as the dessert drink "nod to a neighbor" that my friend had.....was told this is part of a chain .....surprising since usually chain restaurants are not as good as this was.

We had a great brunch on Sunday complete with Bloody Mary - a nice light appetizer table including smoked salmon and bagels and the main course of your choice. I had the steak and eggs which was great but too large to finish. Took the rest home for dinner. Muffins and danish and salad as well. Nice view of the nearby farmland- and occasional live music. We will be back.

My husband and I stopped there after browsing Putnam Lake. As we entered the restaurant we wanted to turn around and go to another place--the looks are hard core and local customers were sitting at the bar. We decided to give it a chance--surprisingly they have a back yard with a lovely water fountain. It was a nice sunny day and we enjoyed sitting in the shade of the tree. We ordered pasta and didn't expect much. Man, were we wrong! Both dishes were d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s.!!! The waitress was nice and kind and we left with full bellies so don't get deceived by the first look when you enter!

We love kielbasa and pierogies I was very excited to try them. I had the hot Polish platter which had 1 stuffed cabbage, a few pieces of grilled/fried kielbasa and 3 pierogies: 1 meat, 1 potatoe and 1 sauerkraut. The stuffed cabbage was big but had no flavor, not even the cabbage! The pierogies were soggy/mushy and very little flavor. The platter cost $17.99 so it was not cheap. I may not have minded paying that had it been better. I would say the kielbasa was the best thing on the plate. I also told a friend about before I went and she and her family had gone before we did and she had the platter as well and was also very disappointed. My husband had the goulash and potatoe pancakes which he enjoyed very much. I would go back again to try something different but definitely not for the polish food. The waitress/bar tender was there by herself so the service was slow. We were the only people in the restaurant but the bar had a few customers.

Tucked away up on a hill with a waterfall and outdoor seating, McCarthy's provides great friendly service to all the locals whether is happy hour or celebrating a special occasion. Large menu choices, great food and average service. (If you sit outside service is usually slow) Restaurant is clean and friendly. Bathrooms are clean and large parking area for the patrons.

We went in October and the decorations for Halloween are fantastic. The food is good and the portions are large. It is not overpriced. It is kid friendly and they have a kids menu. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is b/c the manager (an older guy) was really cranky. The waitresses were nice.
