I ate today at the Local Tap House and it was unbelievable!!! The food and the service were top-notch!!! The inside ambiance is really cool and there also is an out-door patio area. My server, Jessica S., was simply outstanding!!!! Very attentive to my culinary needs and had a wealth of descriptors ready to describe my probable choices!!! Jessica just added to the great experience I was having eating!! Her pleasant disposition and her eagerness and readiness to make sure my experience was great was the BEST!!!!!!! Thanks Jessica!!!!..... I ordered the Kung Pow Cauliflower and the Tuna Crudo Ceviche and both were some of the best dishes I have tasted in the past 11.4 years!!!! They were that tasty and good!!!!! As my readers know, I recently ate at Gaggan in Bangkok, the highest rated restaurant in all of Asia!!!! The food here at LTH was just as good, or better, than Gaggans!!! I am back in Oceanside in January to work again and I will eat hereâ¦â¦.and I will ask Jessica to be my server again!!!!! Simply putâ¦..the food and Jessica were the BEST!!!!! Thanks to the bartender also who served my wines in gargantuan glasses!!!!!! I loved it!!!!!!!!!!

Gastropub new to Carlsbad, excellent food and large selection of beer
Dirty fries with brisket and cheese was a decent starter, the Kobe sliders nice, but our server was myopic at her friends table. We asked another server for help, and she promised sheâd go on a search mission for our waitress. Mission unaccomplished. Finally, an efficient young manager appeared and she was most appropriate and a bit apologetic. If you want a beer you have to look at the chalk board inside and remember the funky name, as they offer no beer menu for those dining alfresco. Itâs in an upscale building and lacks the character of a good ole CarlsBAD Dive.

Loved the different catches of the day...sea bass, mahi mahi, etc. and the fish tacos. Also have nice kids meals with steak and other options if your kids aren't into seafood. Some unique items such as shrimp corn dogs (try them!)

While visiting Carlsbad from Tucson for the month of August, we made it a point to have their 2-pc fried fish with cole slaw. Absolutely the BEST. Two LARGE pieces of beer battered fresh fish that are crispy and tasty ($9.99 on Thursdays only - that's a $4 discount). The cole slaw is great. Hostess and servers are friendly, efficient and Johnny on the spot.We are looking forward to next August!

Green Dragon Tavern & Museum is a stunning replica of Boston's original Green Dragon Tavern, demolished in 1854, where Sam Adams, Paul Revere and other founders met in secret to plan the Boston Tea Party and the American Revolution. Paul Revere departed t
The gallery of reading material interesting ... you don't have to have a meal to review.Been to the restaurant three times -- its a hit and miss. Service okay, food average and not up to par with the cost or quality. If dependent on tourist or club activities perhaps the reason for so so meals. Hopefully, can improve to make it a local destination.

Had a nice (but filling) lunch here on a Sunday. The restaurant was busy and we didnât have reservations but we only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. There is a large menu with plenty of choices covering pizzas, sandwiches, salads etc. My friend and I shared a medium (12 inches, 8 slices) pizza ($23.75) and 1 lb of boneless chicken wings with hot buffalo sauce ($12.75) plus a Pepsi ($3.15 but bottomless). The food was well presented and very tasty. We didnât have any beer but being a brew house it has an extensive selection of alcoholic drinks.

Dini's Bistro is Carlsbad's Premier Oceanfront Restaurant
This restaurant has a nice view of the ocean, a good selection of dishes on the menu (we have a big family with all kinds of dietary restrictions and everyone found something). The muffins they give you before the meal are incredible!

Our group stopped here twice during a fun weekend. First, we came by in the evening for drinks and dancing. We ended up coming back the next morning for bloody maryâs and breakfast. My cheesy avocado toast was delish and it was awesome sitting by the fire pit and having a relaxing start to the day.
