My husband and I were driving around HI exploring when we fortuitously stumbled upon this restaurant in the tiny town of Kainaliu. When walking in it did have posted that they were voted best burger in HI and ascertined that they had other locations. We split both a burger and blue marlin fish and chips and OLA beer.. Everything was fantastic including our server. The Knights

We were here with a local friend for lunch. This is definitely a place that is set up for a pau hana gathering with the pool tables. The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful. We had the burger with fried egg and fries, the Ruben and fries, and the prime rib dip and coleslaw. The burger was cooked perfectly but I didnât like the taste. There was too much creosote flavor and that is not my favorite. The prime rib dip was large but was lacking beef flavor. Now the coleslaw was yummy. The Ruben was probably the best of all the three and served on rye!! Oh and the French fries were yummy. I see they now have Sunday brunch and I would be willing to try that.

The night of our wedding, my new wife and I went for drinks and snacks at Rays. Dan the bartender was extremely hospitable showing his superb customer service skills by remembering all the guests names and making sure everyone at the bar was well attended to. We ordered a few drinks, poke, and chowder which were reasonably priced for a hotel bar. It was a delightful way to end our elopement day! Thanks Dan!
