Restaurant is very neat and clean. On this evening we were promptly seated and our waiter was very attentive and provided excellent service throughout the evening. The bacon burger with fried egg was good. Very large portion and cooked to perfection. Would have liked the beef with a little more flavor. Egg was over cooked. The brioche bun was excellent. French fries were good size portion.

I requested a seat outside because itâs a beautiful day. I was given a menu. 10 minutes went by during which two other parties were seated outside. A waitress finally appeared And proceeded to take the order of a couple that arrived after I did. After taking their order, she looked right through me and proceeded to take the order of a group that had also arrived after me. I pointed out to her that I had arrived first, At which point she asked me what I wanted, and I said nothing. As I got up to leave I heard this waitress and the larger group laughing. Not so much as an apology for leaving me sitting there for 10 minutes as if I were invisible. I will never eat here again. Extremely rude service.I am sorry that Caitlin did not approach you first when she got out to the Deck. Unfortunately our bartender scheduled for Thursday lunch called out sick forcing Caitlin to set up the bar and the restaurant with help from me. There were a number of customers who had just sat at the bar and tables inside the pub when you walked in as I was leaving to pick up some plant at a local nursery with a landscaper who had arranged to take me to the Nursery and help select plants at their annual customer appreciation day. Of course being short one employee puts a strain on service and we did manage to get another server to come in early to help, but he did not arrive until 30 minutes after you left unhappy. After I sat you, I did seat two other groups on the deck and Caitlin made it out within a couple minutes, not 10. Caitlin intended to get everyone's orders on the deck before returning inside as that is the most time efficient way to work. I am sorry she approached the first table that closest to the door she came out rather than asking who was sat first. She told me that she did apologize three time to you and I believe her. She is a little meek sometimes and you may not have understood her. I don't think anyone on the deck was laughing at you. People do joke a bit to relieve a stressful situation as when someone is upset and leaves abruptly. When I gave you a menu I thought everything was good for you. I wish I had taken your order to get things started for you, but I was distracted by our landscaper and project I needed to complete that afternoon. If there is anyway I can make things right for you, please contact Scott at the pub.

We wish this chain would be more consistent. We came for a late lunch and were very pleased with the food and the service. Judging by the other reviews this is not always the case. Our waitress, MaryJo, was helpful and attentive. Our burger bites and molten chocolate cake were served hot and perfectly cooked. This was a very nice, convenient break on a shopping day.

My husband and I had dinner at the North House in Avon, Connecticut on Sunday, June 30, 2019. The food was high quality, nicely prepared and delicious. The portions were also quite generous. My husband had the rib eye steak, which he really enjoyed, and I had the trout with clam chowder, which was quite good. We also were able to take advantage of the happy hour with very reasonably priced drinks and appetizers, including fried calamari, which was delicious. The happy hour was great because we were able to sit in the dining room and have dinner and did not have to sit in the bar to take advantage of it. . . . The overall service was excellent with our waitress being very friendly, polite, attentive and efficient. The atmosphere at the restaurant was very relaxing with nice comfortable seating in a booth. We recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back again.

We generally do not patronize this restaurant because it is too noisy (including loud and unpleasant background music). But we were here to utilize a gift certificate. After we ordered a bottle of wine and it was delivered, opened and served, our waitress apologetically told us that she had forgotten to tell us that the menu was incorrect and the bottle actually cost $60 rather than the $36 listed in the menu. Since we happened to be there on a half-price wine evening, she said we would get it for $30. Since this was $6 less than what we had originally expected to pay, we decided to just roll with it and not spoil our evening with a price dispute. That said, the only correct thing for any restaurant to do is either (1) take 15 minutes and pen-and-ink change the menus to show the correct prices, (2) remember to disclose the error before the order is placed and accepted, or (3) eat the cost difference without making it the customer's problem. We ended up paying $12 more for the wine than we should have, and sadly that only reinforces our perception that this otherwise solid restaurant has a cultural challenge in putting the customer first. Because of the previously noted noise issues and this cultural issue affecting customer service, we will not return.

Nice dinner. Excellent service by Patrick. My wife had the sea bass special, which I tested! Really outstanding. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection. Finished with cappuccino. Delightful evening.

A friendly pub located in historic Collinsville offering a pub style menu with a flair in a cozy yet lively atmosphere. We look forward to serving you!
My husband and I stopped here for lunch after riding the Farmington River Bike Trail. The food and service were excellent. My Cobb salad was delicious, especially the homemade lemon citronette dressing. My husband had a chicken sandwich which was also delicious. We ride the trail all the time and will definitely be back.
