Enjoyed a nice dinner here on a week night. The dining area is spacious and separated from the bar area and the game room. Menu was large and diverse enough for anyone to find something theyâd like. Waitress was friendly. Many of the desserts are made in house. Recommend checking it out if youâre in the area.

We went with a group of about 20. It was REALLY LOUD in the dining room. We had been to Brewhouse before. Food is good, not spectacular, but great. There was alot of confusion with our orders and some of us ended up with food that we didn't order. Service was good. Wings are very good.

âHappy Hourâ ? Oysters and beers - not good. Met my friend for happy hour on a Friday 4pm and ordered oysters, beers, and split a ahi tuna appetizer. I have to say that my family over the past few years have tried Rockbass for their pricey seafood dinners and each time we have had a bad experience. - This time just stopped in with a buddy for happy hour and disappointed for sure. 1. Oysters are not all on Happy Hour price only a coupleâ oh and they are like 25¢ off an oyster, not buck a shuck. The oysters were washed and rinsed so they have no brine or oyster taste? Also they are not cut so you have to hack them out with a fork? Horrible. U should give up the oyster idea. 2. Happy hour prices are a joke- my bill was 59$ for 10 oysters, a small appetizer( the tuna was the only good thing) and a couple beers? 3. Our bills were both messed up totally- nothing correct, there were only two of us. The food and menu has been changed adding stax of food to the menu like the other two restaurants- I have been going here since it was the Italian restaurant years ago- lately we always go in expecting something great - and fee ripped off leaving

I've been coming to this restaurant for a long time. The menu grows and grows and the vegetarian choices shrink and shrink. Even the salads all involve chicken, at least the interesting ones. When I asked if there was a different protein that could be added, say garbonzo beans, the answer was no. In this day and age of alternative meat products and farm to table glitz, I'm pretty shocked that this restaurant is going the other way. Lots of fried food, a burger called the Heart Attack. That's funny? Of course the view is fabulous, our waiter, Ben, could not have been better, so there's that. Another thing. Plastic straws, come on!

Our original Appalachian Brewing Company brewpub is located in historic Harrisburg, PA. The impressive three-story brick and heavy timber structure was built circa 1915. The lagering room portion of the brewery dates to 1890. Throughout the brewery, antiq
When you walk in it immediately looks like a giant log cabin. Super cozy, especially in these winter months. I sat at the bar, which had ample seating and was greated by 2 bartenders who let me try a couple samples and i went with the brut ipa 1st followed by the barleywine; both were excellent. I ordered the fire jumper as a turkey burger ams i loved it! They have a chipotle like mayo that has a great kick (you guys should make it a ranch too!) to the burger. My 1 complaint is that the chef didnt melt my cheese. It was a very mellow friday night so they have no excuse not to take an extra 10secs for that added touch everyone appreciates. All in all a great place to grab some comfort food and local beer

This was my first time to this restaurant. The access point from the parking lot features a very attractive artificial creek running from the upper area where there is a lawn and outdoor seating. There are two entry ways, the first goes into the bar area and the second, which is the main entrance, leads into a very large âwarehouseâ where they house their beer fermentation tanks, etc., and a large bar. They also have picnic tables and game areas (corn hole, pinball machines).I entered the main entrance and waited at the greeting stand where it said âWait to Be Seatedâ but no one was there, so I waited a while, then gave up and headed to the small bar and asked the bartender where I should sit. The bar seats about 8 and there are table seats for another 40 or so. They offered a beer menu, a regular dinner menu and a smaller BBQ menu.My order was the Nachos ($10) - tortilla chips, IPA cheese, jalapeño, salsa, pickled red onion, pico de gallo, sriracha sour cream, queso fresco and braised BBQ pork ($3 add) and full brisket ($19) with two sides, which I selected coleslaw and fries. You also get two sauces (BBQ, pineapple BBQ , General Tso, spicy shishito, Buffalo, blueberry habanero, Fresno chili sweet & sour and sweet chili glaze). My server recommended the Blueberry and Fresno Chili. What I Liked:- The Saleado IPA was very good and came in a generous size glass for $5!- The nachos with shredded pork was excellent! It was a larger than expected offering and at $13, I considered it a value for the size and quality. What I Did Not Like:- No one was at the greeting stand with the sign, âPlease Wait To Be Seatedâ which was an early sign of inattentive service to follow- Service was not attentive once my order was taken. He did not bring my second beer and came back after I was done with the meal to see how things were going.- The brisket was served by a food runner while I was about a third of the way through the nachos, so it sat there getting cold as I finished. This happens all too often around the area and is really a bad practice.- The brisket was served on a rectangular metal plate with wax paper between it. Because it sat so long the wax paper got saturated, and unknown to me adhered to the bottom of the brisket. Unfortunately, I ate a good amount of it before I realized what was happening! Those are two significant miscues that are inexcusable.- To make matters worse, the brisket turned out to be too soft and rendered itself into mush. Also, neither of the two recommended sauces paired well with the brisket.- The coleslaw serving was much smaller than I would have expected as a side offering and was not that good. I did not eat all of it.- I wanted ketchup with my fries, but my server never came back, so they got cold and I ended up not eating them- When I told âMikeâ about my experience he shrugged it off and asked if I wanted the checkMy Prime Minister of Beef rating is 7/10 Mooâs landing this place at the #12 spot of the 24 places I have had beef at in the Carlisle area since February 2019.My overall rating placed this restaurant at #41 of the 111 restaurants I have eaten at in the Carlisle area since February 2019. Two visits last weekend. First visit, black bean burger for vegetarian in our group, nicely done. Pretty good pizza. Service was good. Second visit food good, but our waitress was odd. Gave us very monosyllabic answers, made us feel a bit awkward. The food was good. Maybe we caught the server on a bad night. Federal Taphouse is a good casual spot in Harrisburg, one of the better sports bars in town.

The surroundings and the service were fabulous . The brick oven pizzas are really good. Our waitress worked really hard and we were astonished how she successfully served the entire restaurant single handed. The menu is a little limited with regards to nibbles and appetisers but was a really enjoyable experience

The Millworks features a brewery, a rooftop biergarten, a local & sustainable restaurant, an outdoor courtyard, and 3 art galleries with 23 artist studios...all under one roof.
Typical trendy brewery/"farm to table" place. The view from the bar was nice overlooking the courtyard which unfortunately we could not use due to the rain. The bartenders were friendly. All of the staff were really young and bit unpolished. I bought something rather nice at the gift shop "gallery" and they threw it in the bottom of a bag. The waitress was nice but in a real rush to clear our plates and glasses. The food was ok, the rice in my dish was barely cooked at all. The beer was good, typical craft beer stuff. It was nice to be able to take 6 packs and even individual cans and bottles home. Would have liked more info on the history of the place. There were artists' studios we were told we could visit upstairs, but we felt really awkward walking in on the sole person working up there.

Food was tasty, server was friendly and helpful and the place was packed. That's probably why the service was a little slow but we didn't mind. Met an out-of-town relative there and that gave us a chance to catch up. We'll be going back.
