In winding though northwestern Tennessee to pick up a rescue Welsh Terrier, Blues Landing was recommended as the place for dinner. Depending upon the crowd and the time of day, this can be a laid-back peaceful dinner, or a motorcycle club fueled party - your choice. Billed as a Cajun Creole restaurant, the food here is quite good, if a bit improbable - everything seafood must of necessity arrive frozen. But Blues has a road house vibe, generous outdoor dining and a nice view set back from the main drag. Parking is plentiful and the waitstaff is pleasant. Live music is offered - click on their Facebook page to see the schedule. Be warned - they serve certain drinks in handsome copper mugs - and then put a hold on your credit card for several $$$ until you turn them back in.you

Went for my sons birthday on Sunday and had the Buffett... Food was great. Had the catfish and hush puppies and he had beef n noodles both dishes were great. Strongly recommend the Sunday buffet. Waitress was polite as always and place is always clean.. People always want to complain they have to wait for their food ( which is bc they are always swamped.) Well here's your solution go on Sunday no wait time bc you get to go directly to the buffet table... Problem solved for all you impatient people who want fast food at a nice restaurant... I think the place is great and so is the staff
This place is at the end of the long pier on a Marina. Hard for people with health challenges. Boat dock there often. Good drinks, little pricy.Open during the summer. Outdoor dining. Music on weekend for a cover charge, went there Sunday about 6 PM and the person we went to see was an hour late and only played for an hour. We paid a $10 cover. It seemed they were off on their band schedules with other group(s) playing but the website said this artist was going to play for 2 hours. Staff was very unprofessionally attired. I suggest that they were at least a BREAKERS, colored T-shirt, with the word Wait Staff on it, the Teal color would look the best. You couldn't tell the wait staff from the patrons.Outdoor wire furniture, very dated and had chipped paint. Not impressed at all. No place to get into air conditioning if you wanted to get away from the heat. Had a burger and fries, small single burger was over cooked, bun was unremarkable, Fries were great. Would go again for the fries. My friend had a BLT, Very small portion of potatoe salad. Pricey, $9.00 for each sandwich.Nice watching the boats going in and out of the slips. I think they only had one handicap parking space.Service was very slow. Took awhile to get waited on and to get our food. They do have a drink menu that was nice, drinks were good. food menu very limited.

In the area for a family homecoming over the 4th of July. I stopped here to check it out and arrange reservations for my relatives who were coming to town. First of all, my relatives were late, but the hostesses were very nice, patient and worked to accommodate me. I sat at the bar and sampled so Craft brews on tap and had friendly chat with the barkeep and another individual while I waited for the clan to arrive. When my mob did finally arrive, our waitress showed the patience of Job while my relatives settled in, questioned her about the virtues of various craft beer offerings, and perused the extensive menu. I chose the Brisket dinner and it was wonderful! As far as my comment in the title of the review about it being noisy, that can be expected as it is obviously a very popular place. Service is fast and the staff, as mentioned above is very good. I will be back for Murray State's Homecoming and try something else.

New Owner - Mike - runs a tight ship! He brings his vast experience from Key West Restaurant/Bar, and provides a fun venue! Menu offerings and products have been significantly improved/increased, and beer/frozen wine coolers/hard lemonade are always cold. LOTS of seating, live music Sat and Sun afternoons, easy boat access, huge parking lot for vehicles, RV Park and gas at Marina. Stop by. You'll enjoy. The locals always do!Alan, Mike and I appreciate you taking the time to review us. We hope to have even more fun next year. See you in 2019. Kristen
