We were very happy with service and variety of food on a menu. Food looks and tastes great. Comparing to some other places we have eaten at in Slovenia is a bit overpriced but is definitely worth visiting.

A great looking pub, recommended by American reviewer Rick Steve. Looks more English than Slovenian with heaps of posters, car registration plates and interesting nic-nacs. The bar area is small but leads to a large restaurant at the rear. Friendly service. Good beers. I chose turkey with gorgonzola. Large portion and very nice. My wife ate the goulash soup which was good, but not as good as others we had eaten. Overall, a very enjoyable night. Revisited for drinks.

Easy to miss on the way to Bled's castle but would be a shame if you do. Nice and cozy place with great food, friendly staff and affordable prices. Highly recommended

The worst service I've ever experienced in a bar. Disinterested, sloppy and despite being a cash bar only, there's a good chance they won't have the correct change for you. As well as being overcharged for my drinks (same round from a different bartender a few minutes later was 2 euro cheaper), one particular staff member decided to throw a cloth to a work colleague which ended up landing on a customer. Awful, awful customer service which we were all too happy to get away from after a short stay. The only redeeming feature is the lovely view outside, but this should not lull you into entering this place. Find a better bar down the road
Lake Bled is one of Slovenia's highlights, and my wife and I paid it a short visit by driving around the lake starting from Bled City. Having arrived from the motorway at the coastline of the lake, in the city of Bled, we took a left in eastern direction, and followed the road along the lake. Having completed the perimeter for about 2/3rd, we arrived at a small railway station-cum-coffee house: Kave Haz Samo Arh. This coffee house and bar has a lovely terrace that offers a nice view on the island (with church) which is one of the hallmarks of Bled Jezero (lake). The coffee house was visited by it's local crew of "Stammgäste", and we were very pleased to be friendly welcomed as tourists. The coffee house/bar is housed in a railway station, but we're not sure whether trains come still there (although buses definitely do!)
